testtest

for our resident 10mm

Wait....but, but, but it worked when testing......................right?

Since they're not the 1st or will be the last to produce a firearm that doesn't have bad manufacturing issues it is horrible on these type of manufacturers to release this kind of crap!
Reading some of the Sig Talk posts that I did, I came across a few posters talking about feeding problems with the S&W 10mms, but only the 4" model not the 4.6" model. Problem is that I got both models 🤦‍♂️. I haven't yet fired them, so I can't say if mine have issues or not, we'll see. :)

Just got back home from the LGS and ordered the Sig X-Ten and a S&W PC Ported Sheild Plus with CT optic. The S&W is at the distributor, so I should get that one in a week or two. The X-Ten isn't, so that will be a longer wait.
I want to thanks @SimonRL who sent me links on some reported X-Ten issues. I had already ordered the Sig before getting a chance to read them, but replied to his post from the LGS.
Simon, I feel bad that you did the research with links that I should have done. I did a few (seeing some that you linked to), but needed to go do errands with the LGS on the way, so I thought I just ask you for things you heard about it, (not thinking you'd go through the trouble of linking these posts). I just want to again say it was greatly appreciated and I bestow upon you this well deserving award 🏆 (sorry they aren't the Caniks, as those were promised to @KillerFord1977 😆).
With the wait until the X-Ten comes in (maybe problems will be corrected), I'll check it out once it arrives. I didn't have to put anything down, and if I decline, they know they can always sell it as Sigs go fast at their store.
Simon, I Know you weren't saying buy it or don't buy it, and I want to thank you for the additional information on it. So thanks buddy, (y) it came in handy on what to look out for when I get my hands on one (and then they'll come out with the Legion version and I'll go through this again ;)) .
It was totally my pleasure @BET7. I spend a lot of time on SigTalk and didn’t have to look long to find those threads. As everyone knows I’m an unabashed Sig fanboi and I would never dissuade anyone from buying them, but I was aware of some complaints and wanted to let you know. Personally, I have not had a dud Sig and I was one of the early adopters of the P365 SAS. I’m sure yours will run fine with all the good kharma going round. My thanks for the award, but I’m a little bummed about the Caniks because I have a LOT of Sig mags and I heard they’ll work with the Caniks. Best, Simon.

I wonder if there is any difference between the thumb safety and the 1 without? Or there is issues with both?
Didn't see anything mentioned whether it occurred with or with out a safety. My 4.6" came with the safety (which I prefer not to have, but these models were tough to get so I took it. Since I'm using it only as a home defense and not a carry, I just leave the safety off). My 4" model doesn't have the safety, which could be a carry candidate if I so chose.

You mean a full newly loaded mag doesn't magically materialize into the gun to keep on firing ? 🤦‍♂️ was this gun made in China or something? What kind of garbage did I get? 😆😂🤣🤣🤣

Not playing favs', but I'm trying to decide between p320 Xten and (I know it's a 1911) ri tac ultra. Now the question, "What would @10mmLife do"?   o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

TFL, here a Hickok45 video review (below the bidding process/firearm description), of the RIA TAC Ultra for your viewing pleasure. :sneaky: ;)

I haven't shot anymore that 1 1911 and it was horrible. My wrist isn't 1911 friendly as in doesn't cooperate with the grip angle. They say that SA and some other manufacturers of non-1911's have the same angle, but if it's true then it's just a 1911 issue for me?
Interesting. Isn't it crazy how someone can shoot one type of gun or another type of sight very well and someone else can't get the same results? Just goes to show that we are all built differently. I'll never call-out someone for buying or using a certain gun for any reason - we all have differing reasons for using what we do.

Unless you're carrying/shooting/using a Wildey AutoMag. That thing is ugly as SIN.

I'd buy one.
