Front sight slipping

Green loctite is capillary, I have no idea if it will work.
If you never plan on switching sights why couldn't you dab a bit of solder? Get the sight hot and just dab a bit. It's not like you need to worry about a cold solder joint like working on electronics. If you work it right the solder would just wick under and I doubt you would even see it.

I forgot to mention, the XD-M has a reputation for the sights being near impossible to remove. Making your story even more rare. Some believe they are installing the sights after the slides are heated. People are reporting they need an elaborate setup with a hydrualic press to push the sights out. There is a sight pusher that looks far more sturdy but less flexible in positioning and slides that it can be used with, that people say can be used to push XD-M sights in/out.

I have an XD-M .45 that I am cerakoting and had the slide cut for a Red Dot, meaning I have to replace the sights if I want to co-witness. I have a sight pusher (granted not a great one) and used punches, I had to cut the sights out of the slide to get them out. The new set, Trijicon suppressor height sights I had to file down a bit to get them to fit properly in trial fitting for what you expect for normal fit for most sights. Able to slide the sight 1/3rd of the way into the dovetail cut by finger force only.

All these solutions seem to me to be not the best plan. I would say send the damn thing back to SA and let them fix it. If you do any of this stuff in an attempt to fix it there is no way that will be then covered under any warranty by SA.
I agree. .40 and .45 pistols seem more apt to this happening than 9mm, due to the recoil. I have noted that Trijicon replacement sights for .40 and .45 come with a thicker tighter base that needs to be fit into the dovetail. Call SA, they will probably have you send the slide in. Watch the video by Dawson on installing a fromt sight in a dovetail.
