Getting old

you betcha dupa...!!!

all the years as a mechanic, hanging over the fenders of cars, crawling into the engine compartment, keeping my arms in the air as i worked under the cars/trucks while on the lifts, or "taking a knee" on that cold concrete floor, to set up the lift under the car,

or the triple amount of years climbing into a big rig cab, or climbing into and out of the trailers, or "finger-printing" (hand loading/unloading) the freight, or other such duties

or the years riding motorcycles

yeah....old age......pffftt...more like rehearsal for a slow, painful death

Sadly, my body is complaining about the abuse and neglect I gave it. Motocross landed me a new knee about three years ago. Softball left my right shoulder a mess.

Naturally, if I could go back and tell my younger self what it would be like at 65, I would have answered "will deal with that then." Biggest regret is that I can't do that stuff anymore.

SOBing, old people were right. "you'll pay for that when get old". "Ayha" and keep right on doing what I was doing. Ya just can't tell some people nutin.
Knee hurts whenever the weather changes from one or another motorcycle accidents, arm won't straighten from being thrown from a horse, mouth breather from being hit in the nose with a pipe wrench, missing teeth from the same wrench, the occasional boot and pool cue, hands won't make a good fist because they used to and I used them, back aches from carrying/lifting crap heavier than I was. Jumper battery to keep my heart going when it decides to take a break. Heat stroke, car accidents, falling off ladders, roofs, hypothermia, general hard work and hell raising did their jobs. I stay clean shaven because I'm sure the whiskers would hurt given the chance. :ROFLMAO: Oh well I'm just paying the fiddler for one hell of a dance, and I'm not done dancing yet. I'm game let's give it a whirl, don't mind if I'm a little slower now, I'll keep/catch up.;)

Hey guys. Glad I found this forum. Loads of info. Thanks to all btw.

I’m a couple months shy of 68 and haven’t figured out how to download the Armory Life app to my iPhone. Any help would be great. T

I worked in a steel shop and did fabrication for 20 years until I ruptured a disk. Back surgery got rid of the sciatica, but ended up with nerve damage. Good thing is I'm on the right side of the grass.

Depending on phone i can help. Android/Samsung it's easy. Just search for "the Armory life", pull up home page, use the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right, it'll ask "save page" option. From there you can add to home screen or other places.

Did you have to much fun but now you find your overdone. I know I am as the hands of time have stole those days handed me new challenges and the saying of the day is what's up Doc ?

The only thing I complain about at 60 is arthritis in my right hand. I suspect shooting big bore handguns are to blame...I have it a lot better than most of my friends, so I am grateful!
I shoot better left handed, but I've had a major issue doing that since 1/1/86. I broke the left navicular and it never healed correctly. I can't even shoot a 22 due to recoil. Long guns and sg's aren't an issue.
