New trucks are so expensive! That is why I don't drive one anymore. If I had known how much they would cost, I never would have gotten rid of my last one.

i still wish i had my'80 C-10 stepside.....no power nuffin, no electronics, 6 cyl and 3 on the tree....

bought it new in 1980....$3,800 off the lot.

I should have talked about a possible Nissan and Honda merger, but got derailed and talked about what I'd like.
Nissan is in trouble and the question is whether or not it makes sense for it to happen. I don't know. This happens to a lot of companies. Look at Colt, Intel or (fill in the blank). I do know I'm not gonna buy a $50K 4 wheeler or a $25K motorcycle. Nor am I going to finance something that depreciates immediately over 7 years or more.

i have known many people that would never buy new, only used.......that's good, if they can get a cherry, and not someone's lemon.

i bought used when i was younger and needed to establish a credit score...after that got done, it was always new.

now at my age, if i need to buy another car, it too will be new, or maybe an off lease car.....cuz it'll be my LAST car.

frankly, i thought about leasing my last car.....but i don't want the monthly payments.

there is good and bad with that however..when i die, no one can fight over the car...it goes back to the leasing company...!!

Have to admit, the Cobra and the Corvette are both easy to work on. Since curmudgeon is in the rear view mirror for me, I think I will just stick to simple.
