I Love REVOLVERS

I have 2 K frames, a Model 10 and a Model 15, the latter was carried in L.A. for15 years. Several Colt Trooper Mk. 3s, a 357 and a 22. Three J frames; an Airweight Bodyguard, a Model 36 and a Model 60. Also a Detective Special 2”, a Smith .32, Colt 32-20, several Spanish wheelguns; another32-30 and a .32 Long. My grandfathers.32 Short he carried while in N.Y. during WW1, and a Taurus.44. Probably a few I am not remembering in there also. Guess I do like my revolvers. Never had a problem with any, except for a Glisenti .32 revolver which is Italian junk…

These are just a few:

A few of my K frames.
4” 10-14
3” 10-5
4” 15-4
4” 64-6 DAO (not an official NY1 but basically what it is and what I carry a lot)
4” 65-6

They are like potato chips….you can’t have just a couple!
I like all of those. When I carry a revolver as primary, it’s a 4” SB 65, or 3” RB 65.
A fixed sight K-frame is a rock.
I know my 15 or 19 are more versatile with their adjustable sights, but the fixed sight models are so much more snag-resistant.

I would love a 10/13/64/65 with UC sights.

When I hosted Chuck Hahhard didn’t you run your Model 12 for a few reps?

I know a lot of folks have brought up the model 12 to Bolke, Eastridge and Cloessner from Lipseys l. If it is on their radar not sure..

For those interested here’s the channel to follow (as well as AFR Official on FB and their paywall sight) in-depth discussion on the Lipseys Mountain gun

Yes I did, most times we shot very close.

I was really hoping for a Model 12UC (or 412UC or whatever form it takes) at SHOT this year, but I’ll keep waiting and hoping.
A K-frame Centennial Airweight would be even better since I’m dreaming.

They briefly made one not too long ago— the 315 Night Guard.

I’d love to see them bring that back; I’ve got a 325 Night Guard in .45acp…wish I’d gotten the 386 version that they had out as well…

Another vote for the three inch K frame. The ejector rod is full length, unlike the 2 or two and a half inch barrels. Makes a big difference removing spent brass. The butt is the hard part to hide, so a three incher hides as easy as a two. It is a no brainer. This is my old driving rig from back in the day. Very comfortable because of the balance. And having another revolver I can give to a qualified passenger (which I would have to say is all of them) that happened to be unarmed is a huge force multiplier.
