I am on FB however I post very very little in fact I can’t remember the last time I did. I have no Twitter account and never will.
We all pray the same thing.I feel like we are all in for a lot of bad news regarding our beloved gun rights.
I also have no faith in the SCOTUS anymore. I think the Constitution is about to get shredded.
I pray that I am wrong.

Doubt that, since politically I think there is more to gain by simply keeping the gun conversation going instead of taking action (federally) the state legislatures are another story, IMO. I don't think we pay enough attention to our state elections which is really where the majority (both restrictive and loosening) of gun laws are passed.
I don't like the idea of a president speaking polotiAgreed, Twitter is not a respectable platform for a president. My opinion.
It looks like you have some true patriots in power there!Well that's been my hope all along since my state is super majority red and has been for a good long while. Long enough to turn into a constitutional carry state with Castle, Stand Your Ground and a law that protects you from civil liability in a justified self defense shooting. This year we will likely pass the bill ( it already passed the senate) that makes it a crime for anyone to enforce any new or old unconstitutional gun laws or cooperate with the feds in an effort to enforce them. Listed specifically are gun bans, gun or ammo taxes, restrictions on carrying, buying or possessing and specifically lists the 1934 and 1968 gun laws as unconstitutional.
I know.Praying is fine. But be prepared for that not to work.
I truly hope you are correct, but I imagine we will see some executive action on guns in the first month and no chance the scotus helps us out.Doubt that, since politically I think there is more to gain by simply keeping the gun conversation going instead of taking action (federally) the state legislatures are another story, IMO. Must be nice to live in freedom. Meanwhile here in Illinois , since the FOID card scam has been proven to be a failure to keep thugs from getting firearms , our wonderful leaders want to increase the fee from $10.00 for 10 years to $50.00 for 5 years , require fingerprints , and were talking about requiring said prints be done at a persons district ISP ( Illinois state police ) headquarters. For me , that's a 72 mile round trip and I am sure there are others who would have to travel farther than that.Well that's been my hope all along since my state is super majority red and has been for a good long while. Even if the prints aren't required to be done at ISP headquarters , the private sector charges at least $50.00 with some charging up to $70.00.
That's ridiculous. The St. Louis Police Department will make you fingerprint cards for $10.
I really don't see much happening on guns until the current under 30 crowd reach their full political power.I truly hope you are correct, but I imagine we will see some executive action on guns in the first month and no chance the scotus helps us out.
Papa, when did you hear this? First I'm hearing of it. I mean my prints are on file with authorities because of my work, but I haven't heard anything about this. When I renewed 20 years ago I had to print to prove I was me. Evidently SS number, DL number etc etc was not good enough. I had to go to local police station and get photo'd and printed and have them send it off. Took almost a year to get my card. In the meantime, everything was stashed at a family members place. Didn't want to get caught without documentation and lose everything. Wow, we are close to living under Gestapo rule.Must be nice to live in freedom. Yep, and unfortunately the "newcomers" will probably do the same. I haven't watched a late night talk show since Leno departed (2009 I recall). The giggling, laughing, outright defamation of conservatives (by guests & hosts), and the absolute drooling by the "hosts" of the shows over their guests was not for me. What gets me is that the hosts of the late night talk shows actually think they're funny. I've got news for them. Perhaps a national poll of the viewers would be beneficial in seeing just how popular they are. Unfortunately, they'd probably use machines from Dominion......just to ensure they get the results they want.I don't know about all of you, but I thought when our President, First Lady, etc., first started appearing on late night talk shows it was not appropriate for folks in those positioins. It seems to me it has been pretty much downhill since.
It’s an expression.Praying is fine. But be prepared for that not to work.
This bill was introduced last year and was passed in the House ( Illinois ) , sent to the Senate , but didn't go beyond that. Right now it is sitting just waiting for them to decide to bring it to a vote. I will send a PM to keep from interrupting this thread.Papa, when did you hear this? First I'm hearing of it.
