Must be nice to live in freedom. Meanwhile here in Illinois , since the FOID card scam has been proven to be a failure to keep thugs from getting firearms , our wonderful leaders want to increase the fee from $10.00 for 10 years to $50.00 for 5 years , require fingerprints , and were talking about requiring said prints be done at a persons district ISP ( Illinois state police ) headquarters. For me , that's a 72 mile round trip and I am sure there are others who would have to travel farther than that.
Even if the prints aren't required to be done at ISP headquarters , the private sector charges at least $50.00 with some charging up to $70.00.

Massachusetts charges $100 for an LTC application and to top it off MA is a may issue state so if you are denied with no reason needed to be giving, you lose the $100 as it's considered an application fee.

You also need to go though a state certified LTC class before applying which costs between $100-$150 with none of this guaranteeing your rights.

I'm glad I moved to NH where you can smell the freedom in the air with constitutional carry!
