I also have lived in Illinois my whole life. At least I am in the Southern part of the state. Normal everyday life is not the same as in the North East part of the state. However , it seems the NE part of the state rules the rest of the state.
It just keeps getting worse all the time.

I really do wish I could afford to move. Living on a fixed income and with the health issues I have , I am not able to do so. Sucks to get old.

Papa hit the nail on the head, Chicago dictates the direction of Illinois. Unions, junkies, gimmegrants and dead people keep the left in power while those with common sense get swept up in the tide. Don't get me wrong, Im not anti-union. I just really don't understand their logic in electing dirtbags.
Once a strong manufacturing hub of the nation. Now warehouse every where you look. All of the countries food used to pass through or get "processed " in Chicago's stockyards. Now, that's all warehouses and cold storage.
Illinois is dying and Chicago's the cancer doing it.

He’s a great cat. He’s outside during the day and inside sleeping all night. Kills moles, mice, birds, anything that moves basically. He follows me around. Comes when I call him. He’s basically a dog.I was all in till you mentioned the cat. Guess I'll just have to stand and fight here in ILL.

Well, guess we are all set then. Just need to convince them it will be beneficial for them. Hey, Smith and Wesson moved a large part of their manufacturing and headquarters to Tennessee.

Well they also are moving their facility in Columbia Missouri to Tennessee so it's not just about gun friendly. Missouri has better gun laws than Tennessee does.
