I'm a man of my word

Range Report is - I'm a terrible shot at 15 yards with a handgun, but much better at 10. Need more practice.
I am ECSTATIC to report that the Prodigy ran 100% flawlessly with a handful of different brands. All 115gr, WWB, Fiocchi Range Dynamics, Monarch brass. I have no doubts that the newer Prodigy models have had the kinks worked out. Mags ran fine as well. VERY VERY happy with the purchase. This is one slick firearm.

First pic is 10 yds - Prodigy - Pay no attention to that little guy at the bottom. I wouldn't worry about that little guy.
Second pic is 15 yds - Prodigy
Third pic is 15 yds - Beretta - To be fair, the rear sight on the Beretta needs adjusting still I think.

Love to see it!

Glad you're enjoying it. There's just something about the Prodigy that makes it so much fun at the range.

I had stated atleast twice last week that this weekend I had plans on picking up a 5" Prodigy. Well, I found one for $1,375 - At my typically overpriced local indoor Range/Gun Shop nonetheless. Well i'll be goddamned if that pretty gal didn't follow me home. Zero attempt at stealing @HansGruber 's thunder here. Just funny coincidence. Looks like we're Prodigy brothers... Or something semi homoerotic to that extent. All jokes aside, i'm absolutely ecstatic to have found one, and under MSRP.

That's a mighty fine looking firearm. It's almost as good looking as my Beretta APX....:)
All joking aside, as a former Marine I have a sweet spot for 1911s...nice firearm sir...:)

Nice pickup, I really enjoy mine. It’s taken a bit of a backseat now that I have a Staccato P, but I come back to it freequently.
With about 1K through my P, and over 5K easily through my Prodigy, the slide is smoother AND with the EGW internals the trigger is actually nicer/cleaner break on my Prodigy than my P.
I wasn’t really bothered by the two piece guide rod (other than forgetting to tighten it down after cleaning…oops) until i got my P. Then the light clicked on…. One piece tool less guide rod AND 10-8 performance slide lock are the only things on my wish list for my 4.25 prodigy. Great shooter, I was able to get mine down to sub 3.5# trigger bone stock. EGW kit just took it to a whole new level of clean break and shootability.

I’d agree KillerFord.
My x5 has the Sig Armorer’s kit in it…it is the absolute best striker fired pistol I own or have ever shot.
Between it and my Prodigy, 10K rounds easily. It just works…little to no maintenance either.
Still love the 2011 platform

haha, It's a 200 rd box of 9mm (198 rds to be exact) to fill all the mags for my 3 9mm full size competition shooters. That's too much, something has to take a backseat for the time being. I'll rotate it in every now and again but right now the 92XPD and Prodigy are at the forefront.

That’s what I was thinking. I’m at the range 3 times a week. I’m chewing through enough ammo without putting the X5L back in the show.
