So i signed up and here i am. It's a "slow" forum but i will give it a look through and see if it's decent since others have only been ok
I am newer in the gun and 2A things. 2A i have been supporting and pushing for a Right to not be a privaledge (i used to live in NJ and i hope a little to get back there) so i put my name in GOA and other email bombs and make calls as well. A gun for CCW and paper/cardboard killing/practice will happen hopefully by the end of the year. A 1911DS 9mm or 10mm for a good price for me is what i want. I and not against putting it together.

I am also new to a State that is slightly 2A friendly ..

This board is fairly active. Just ask a question in the right section and you'll get plenty of answers. This place has been super helpful for me. I've been seriously training, practicing, and acquiring firearms only since the summer of 2020, so I'm pretty new myself. I've got a couple of 1911 handguns, one in .45 and one in 9mm. I'm always shopping for my next purchase. I'm sure that soon you will be too.

I am not sure what you mean by “slow forum” but we’ve been called much worse than slow.
At any rate, if you’re new to shooting and all things 2A then you’ll find plenty of answers here. The people here are smart, knowledgeable and faster than you may think.

welcome to the site, from RI.......... yes we are slow maybe in responding to a question, but then too, we have other things to do, so you'd have to be patient. it's the way of many sites. not everyone here may know an answer to your questions(s).

that you refrain from using the word, or other words pertaining to......"KILLING"..?????

maybe instead just say..."PRACTICE"...????

you really do not know, who, or what is "watching" this site, from another human, LEO agencies, to "bots", and picking up such words, that can and will be used against you, maybe even this site, if it looks like people here advocate "KILLING".....

Ok.... so i see this is a "newer" forum and the recent posts list for each section are days or months old. So my slow thing was/is about that. So a little apo-logies from me.

I am a Pennsyltukian almost officially a year, un-officially is almost 2 years. so gun stores within minutes of where i rent a room, is a cool thing. Heck i was at a flea market sunday and the police had a "booth" for people to get CCW. A cool thing even if it shouldn't be a thing. And is something a Joiseyian didn't think he would ever see. Eff, NJ bullets can't be bought without a permission slip, or am i wrong or the laws/rules change?

And a thank you to you all for the welomes... i'm still laughing... i will insert myself into your threads if or when i can....

My people mostly, i'm 2+ hours away and very limited public transportation where i'm at. And with my learning about and "fighting" for our Right To Bear Arms, i want to be in the State i spent 49 years of my life in, doing it and dis-obeying it's laws and rules... not just "supporting" from the sidelines. And those Jersey boardwalks and beaches that were minutes away are fun too... hahaha...

I don't know if i can bring a faction, i am mostly a dummy and i don't know what a faction is.... lol... but it shouldn't cost me money, if i still lived in NJ it probably is something that has a tax or a toll to be a part of, though.... lol...
