A lot of folks add so much stuff on to their compacts they end up the same size as a full-size.

Personally I find the 1911 very easy to carry and conceal. I often carry mine.

It's been a good while since I carried a 1911 in a concealed position. Next week I'm gonna start carrying my DW Vigil 45acp in a OWB holster.
