Forgot to mention in my previous post #37 that the tire specialist for that driver/crew chief was also on those crews. He is now a crew chief in his first year on the WoO Sprint Car Tour. also currently in the top 10 in points in that series. The 3 of us spent many years together with numerous victories, including track championships, to show for it. I retired several years back due to age, but still sing the National Anthem at several tracks, always visiting my friends in the pits before the race. I now watch from the stands and get to see all the events rather than just the ones when our car was on the track. I do miss the camaraderie though.
