No disrespect to anyone, but in the bigger picture no one is invested in Seattle, Portland or Minneapolis other than the people from those areas, but when you storm the symbol of every ideal that this country is founded on you are going to put yourself up for extraordinary attention and be dealt with accordingly.

As for why there were so few guns, the police made it pretty clear that you can’t carry in DC and they would be arresting and confiscating. Add that to the reality that you show up armed to a political event in DC that the S- will hit the fan.

The guns comment was about the National Guard not being armed while standing on the steps of a national monument.

Ha ha. You’re out of your Mind Hans Gruber. Out of your mind. Those cops were there like that because BLM has a history of burning **** down. They stormed Ferguson police department this summer. I watched it go down. Broke windows, shot fireworks into the building through the broken windows, hurled bricks and frozen water bottles at cops. 3 of those cops were friends of mine. About 8 of them were injured. They were all given orders to stand down. I also watched the STL police department under siege. They shot 4 cops. Right there in front of the F’ing building. Again police were ordered to hold the line and not to do anything else.

Shoot down BLM protesters? Pfft. That **** would never happen.

You need to check your cognitive dissonance.

Fact Check.

The proof is there if you seek it!

MSN and other major news outlets have also reported this but they have been leaving out the BLM or Antifa associated title of the individual calling only him a liberal activist. If you need more context on the matter a simple google search will show you interviews of this individual stating he is a BLM leader and he uses the #Antifa.

Maybe they were all members of QAnon because here's Jake Angeli who describes himself as a QAnon Shaman. By the way, the man to the right of Jake is the Navistar Direct Marketing employee who was fired because he was wearing his ID badge. Talk about a dumbass.

Or perhaps they were all members of various 2A coalitions because that what Richard "Bigo" Barnett belongs to in Arkansas. Here's Richard pretending to be someone important.

Or maybe they were all members of Proud Boys because here's a picture of Nick Ochs a founding member of Proud Boys in Hawaii.

It really doesn't matter whether or not these people belonged to an organization or not, they invaded the Congress of the United States during a joint session of Congress. Every American should be disgusted by the actions of these people. Everyone that is arrested deserves long prison sentences for attempting to overthrow the government.

What does your statement have to do with the information I provided showing proof that BLM/Antifa were indeed inside the capitol when the member I replied to asked for proof there was?

I did not dispute other groups were not there as this wasnt the topic of my reply.

You seem to be making an emotional reactionary argument to a post that has nothing to do with the post you are replying to.

I have never condonded any violence nor have I supported any political group involved or alleged to be involved in the so called insurrection. I am an independent voter with an independent opinion on a variety of topics with this topic included.

Why is everyone making assumptions without the facts coming to the forefront first?

Hmmmm this string is starting to sound like the political string on the other boards.

I would hope everyone could agree that we should all take a step back. It’s like talking about which religion is more correct.

let’s maintain the high standard we have in this forum...I would hate to see the positive banter I enjoy on here turn.

Yea, let’s all take a step back and take a deep breath, if this thread keeps going like it is, it will be gone, just saying.

Agreed!

Some will argue no matter the topic even if it was just talking about dirt as the world is full of egos especially when keyboards are involved.

Unfortunately respectful debate is a dying idea with cancel culture being pushed to the forefront.

Here's the problem with discussions on matters like these, particularly on gun boards like this:

If you don’t subscribe to the groupthink, well, you must automatically be wrong. In this case, if you don’t agree with the premise that these simply could not be Trump supporters doing what they said they were going to do on multiple social media sites prior to this F***ING HAPPENING, well, you must support ANTIFA.

Which is a steaming load of bull$hit.

F*ck it. I’m done with this thread. Lock the bitch.

Well that doesn't seem like a rational reply to a group discussion, it sounds like the cancel culture I referenced above.

Was locking the thread the goal of participating in this thread?

This seems very disrespectful to the original thread poster who in my opinion has been a respectful contributor since he joined.
