M1A Hunting ammo

Also, I’ve shot thousands of rounds of soft point ammunition through m1a rifles and never had an issue. If you properly clean your chamber after shooting and don’t shoot a case of ammo per session you will be fine. To the idiot that claimed otherwise, you are misinformed and ignorant. My chambers have never looked any different after shooting soft points than fmjs. I wonder if some of you have ever fired one of these rifles!
My goodness.

Someone showed up with an attitude.

PS: if you look on page 1, you’ll see a shot of the ACTUAL SPRINGFIELD M1A OWNERS MANUAL WHERE IS SAYS TO NOT USE SOFT POINT AMMO.

But, hey—you’re the “expert”, right?

Mr Steve:
From a SA owners manual on the rifle you are an expert on. In simple terms. From the people who made the rifle you own.. circled in red.

As long as the ammo is within the pressure curve of the rifle, you'll be okay.
Otherwise you'll need an adjustable gas plug to vent the gas system.
If I'm repeating anything already said, I'm sorry, but like the Garand, the 14/1A is not complicated to run, as long as you're mindful of its limits.
