Michigan Democrats push for gun magazine capacity limits

BobM

Hellcat
A short recent article about a few Michigan Democratic leaders who want to impose a 10 round limitation on commonly owned firearm magazines due to a very sad tragedy on December 1st 2021 with four Oxford Michigan highschoolers deaths with seven other people injured. Is another possible infringement to our 2nd Amendment. Gifford's Law Center made comment:

Maybe they should keep their criminals in jail vs. letting them out early or with minimal bail so the drug gangs don't shoot innocent bystanders, and/or don't run down people at XMas Parades.

The Upper Peninsula should secede from the lower.

Good thing my new Hellcat comes with a 10 round magazine. Probably by design.

I agree completely, because it is better if only 10 people are shot instead of 11, that's the real problem in Michigan. Seems like intelligent arguments are over with in the government.🤔😕
In New Orleans, the biggest problem is the civil war statues and street names, which are getting much attention and city funds thrown at this incredible problem, while the daily murders are just acceptable. This is the sad times we live in when if its not a PC problem, its not really an issue.

Will there is a way
I’ll always say that

China has a knife problem, but it rarely makes the news. Mass stabbings in public

Taking away or limiting guns is not the answer

"China has a knife problem, but it rarely makes the news. Mass stabbings in public."
- Have read up on some of their image protecting, isn't easy finding, but it's there. And, elsewhere in other countries too.

"Taking away or limiting guns is not the answer."
- No, it's not. Not even close.

Thoughts to ponder? - If they come for your guns today, they will come for your knives or your whatever else tomorrow.

- Seems to be in many instances. Much of the issues, firearms, racism, tearing down statues, anti police rhetoric, etc. across this country seems to be spurred on by a few others in an attempt to divide us as people by using others gullible enough to believe the hoopla and pass it on to others of what seen from my viewpoint. Possibly to divide the nation as a whole and to conquer it and it's people too? Basically, divide and conquer. Or, to cause and create problems if nothing else? Likely a win-win in their eyes?

Bur by who? Is another country possibly responsible for the calamities and invasion of our rights? Follow the money for the answers? Some of the answers seen have already led to and shown possible and likely corruption, BLM for example. It may help explain some of the Democratic stands and views changing over the years on certain things as well?

As we no longer have any type of unbiased media, meaning we almost never get the truth, full truth and nothing but the truth from any media outlet, many people seem to be content with picking news coverage that goes along with what they want to be the truth. Facts no longer truly matter. There is a news show on Apple tv, the one quote I saw that struck me as very real is Jennifer Anniston, in her news anchor position says, 'Its up to us to decide what the news is'. In my opinion this seems to be how most news outlets feel. The days of true journalistic integrity have gone the way of the common courtesy, it no longer exists.

- Is a pet peeve. That and the obvious bias. There's thankfully and usually a glimmer of some truth even in fabrications or it wouldn't be completely believable by some?

Journalistic integrity in the news seems to have blown out the window for glitz in too many instances too. Look at Geraldo Rivera for example? Seemed to be very believable and have good integrity for many years in the past, good facts galore, then it suddenly and seemingly it disappeared. Why? No clue. Sarcastically, he's been taken over by the doppelganger effect or by aliens?

May also seem like many journalists now receive their training from the National Enquirer now days too? - All glitz to gain attention, then story falls flat into oblivion void of too many facts? Seems there's usually no real meat in the content and very few real facts in too many news stories or articles. Just hurry to get story out is about it? - "Will be continued later as facts unfold" but, rarely ever is or may be hidden elsewhere?

The article above barely gets out some facts and "meat" about possible mag size and ammo reduction in Michigan and the supposed reason why, but it does squeak by. Likely some sort of constraint put on the author?

"The days of true journalistic integrity have gone the way of the common courtesy, it no longer exists."
- It's a rare bird, but is sometimes exists.

Get more mags and reload them ahead of time may help?
I have several. Loaded in the bedside safe. what i work on is dropping the empty and inserting a full one (well, full of snap caps) and getting it back into battery and sights on target. Getting pretty good at it. “Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.”

Good, that works as good as can be. Speed will usually increase with repetition.
