New hellcat that makes noise when moved quickly in my hands (with no bullets inside)

Glocks do this..

if you don't hear this rattle, then the striker channel is mucked up.

this i learnt from the videos from The Glock Store, and others.
Hmm interesting…
My S&W SD9 ( “Swock”) striker most definitely does NOT rattle - my understanding is the innards are basically Glock copy.
And yeah, I definitely clean the striker assembly channel; about every third cleaning.

Hello,
I'm new to this forum so I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this thread.
I have a question regarding my HELLCAT® 3" MICRO-COMPACT OSP™ HANDGUN
When I move it quickly in my hand I hear a certain noise.
My questions are:
1. What is this noise
2. Does it mean that my gun is not functional

Here's a youtube of my hand gun making this noise

Thanks a lot and again sorry if this is the wrong place
I think all the Hellcat models do that, my OSP and Pro do as well... if you take it down and just have the Slide in hand with Striker and Extractor still in place, shake it and you will still get that noise. They work fine though.

THIS ^ Listen to the video and you'll hear the exact type of "ting" that your's is making. Some are a little more muted some ring a little bit more. The important part of the video is that it shouldn't do it if it is cocked. Only after you pull the trigger should you be able to make the noise. If it's making noise when it's cocked, don't shoot it, call Springfield.

in the OP's video, he does have the trigger pulled.
