New Sig P365

Tritium sights, the green glow.
If they could only make the bad guys and girls glow green.
If you cannot see the sights, how can you be positive you are about to KILL a bad guy or girl?

That's why I don't worry too much about glow sights. I'm not shooting without a light that positively identifies what I'm shooting at. I've had 3 Sig P365's now (1 SAS and 2 standards), all of them have had poor tritium sights. Still love and carry the pistol...

The SAS wasn't bad, but I sold mine and bought a std P365. I find all sig tritium sights to be substandard, however (SAS or regular tritium sites.) The SAS was a rock-solid reliable platform, however.
I had a SAS and I really liked it except that the green dot was useless in the dark, which is why I went to a standard P365.

Here's what my P365 looks like these days. I went to an XMacro grip and added a Radian Ramjet Aterburner, Radian Backstrap and Magwell and Radian baseplates. This uses the slide from the standard P365 and the Ramjet Afterburner is a match grade ported barrel with a compensator that attaches via a tapered set screw and doesn't need a threaded barrel. The expansion chamber is much larger than the comped XMacro barrel. The grips use 17rd mags and are a little harder to conceal, particularly with the backstrap and magwell, but the gun feels fantastic in the hand. It shoots like a .22 with very smooth, easy to manage recoil. Im back in love with the P365. The only downside is this is an expensive proposition. One could by a P365 AXG Legion for the same investment, but IMO, this version looks way better.

When I got my first pistol with tritium sights more than 30 years ago, as usual at night I put my pistol on the top shelf of the walk in closet in the bedroom. At about 2 a.m. Mrs Greener nudges me awake and whispers, "There's something in the closet looking at us". I laughed so hard. Dang those night sights were bright.

I am a fan of Trijicon HD night sights and have put them on my carry pistols. I have used them in low light instructor courses and find them helpful, especially in twilight. My old eyes favor the big notch and big dot out front.

I also have night sights as well as a Surefire light on my HD shotgun.

Supporting our Israeli allies!
Which is not hard to justify since their weapons are pretty damn nice.

I can't compare the MS with the Sig because I don't have experience with the Sig, but more than one well known gun reviewer has compared it favorably to the 365XL. It is very nearly the same size, but it is a littler "Slim"mer :)
Nice trigger, very accurate, Holosun K optics mount right to the slide. The most comfortable thing I've had down my pants since the good old days when I would often find my woman's hand down there.
