New VP9 models…

Well for one, I already have 5 VP9s, so what’s one more? Seriously though, I have always thought the VP9 could do with being a bit bigger, without looking like the L, kind of like the 4.6 or 5 inch PDP.

I don’t disagree with the comments about this being an incremental change and I am a bit disappointed that the VP9 is not cut for a specific footprint (RMR) and still requires a plate. It also seems I’m one of the few people who likes the finger notches on the grip. I’m sorry to see that go.

But bottom line - MOAR HK!

Now if they would do something similar with the P30 and the USP.
My guess is the SCS will fit on it. ;)

Initially I didn't like the looks of the SK. The more I looked at it though the more it grew on me. I very much like the way the VP9 feels in my hand. It was a stellar shooter for me right out of the box. When I got the SK with the SCS I had a summer/fall gun in mind, mainly due to the size. Once I got it and got it on the range I was extremely impressed with it. These days I am more likely to be carrying the SK than the regular VP any time of the year.

All that to say that an even bigger VP9 is probably not going to make me want one. I am more than happy with the regular OR VP9 and the SK.

The next HK I buy will not be a handgun. Well, unless they cut a P30L slide for an SCS.

The VP9 has one of the better triggers in a plastic striker; always has…always been ambi, night sights were always available…since day one.

Optic cuts came a few years later with OR models.

What rock have you been living under?

The cheapest I can find an optic ready SK is $900 by the way. I paid $1050 for mine with the SCS on it and the dealer package which came with extra mags, a nice case, some other swagl

Battlehawk Armory had an HK sale going on over the break and had the SK for $599. I paid $899 without an optic for mine.

I love the SK and there are days when I’m absolutely convinced it’s a better shooter than the standard VP9. I just find it a bit chunky for IWB. I do carry it that way, but my P365 or P07 fit the bill better.

An optic ready SK for $599 ?

It is a little chunkier than the Masada S for sure.

Gee. I wish I'd thought of that. . .

Or at least thought of the fact that advocating for overcoming a crappy trigger instead of buying guns or modding them to have nice triggers is exactly the same concept as buying cheap guitars with crappy tuners, bad intonation and horrible fretwork and "Training" to overcome those issues rather than just spending the money and buying a fine instrument in the first place.

Thank you, My Brother.

I'm sorry; it seems my intention has failed to grasp.
