no nope for Pro 2A people if this happens

I seem to recall in more recent history the outcry and shaming just a few years ago when people in Texas were talking about ceding from the union.

We definitely need a national divorce. In fact I believe it is the only thing that would prevent the inevitable full blown civil war that is coming sooner or later.
Sorry brother this is one we are going to have to agree to disagree. It took us 100+ years to get where we are today it will take us another 100 years to fix it. Quick fixes and shortcuts never work out for the best. All we can do is do our part to make a better world for our grandchildren. If push came to shove, as much as I may not like it, I would have to side with the Union. I took an oath, and believe in the union, blemishes, flaws and all.
;) That still don't stop me from thinking a certain segment of politicians, both R&D, should be taken out and clubbed like a baby seal. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

One thing is obvious. There is no reconciling with leftists. Compromising with them isn't an option. This only goes down one of two ways. We separate from them or civil war. It will come to a head. I used to think not in my lifetime, but the last 8 years make me think it might be sooner than I thought.

Tim Horton's coffee is one of the very few good things Canada has given us

This picture is about 4 years old. And it's taken at my old house, we moved out to the country 2 and a half years ago. Only received compliments about it, never a complaint. I finally took it down when it became very weather worn. I do have an indoor version of it hanging out in my garage right now.

This is where the 100 years come in. We need to realign the culture. that starts with taking back the education system, the media, all media, news, tv, movies. Let the commies die off as time goes by. Like you I never thought that I would see civil war in my lifetime, now I'm concerned about the next 90-180 days. A lot has change in the last 4&1/2 years. Just because the summer of "mostly peaceful protest" got away with their actions, I suspect it won't be tolerated again. Three assassination attempts, God forbid someone succeeds. A whole :poop: pile of people won't buy the lone gunman, Iran did it, no matter how true it might be.

"Coming now to the other qualities mentioned above, I say that every prince ought to desire to be considered clement and not cruel. Nevertheless he ought to take care not to misuse this clemency. Cesare Borgia was considered cruel; notwithstanding, his cruelty reconciled the Romagna, unified it, and restored it to peace and loyalty. And if this be rightly considered, he will be seen to have been much more merciful than the Florentine people, who, to avoid a reputation for cruelty, permitted Pistoia to be destroyed. Therefore a prince, so long as he keeps his subjects united and loyal, ought not to mind the reproach of cruelty; because with a few examples he will be more merciful than those who, through too much mercy, allow disorders to arise, from which follow murders or robberies; for these are wont to injure the whole people, whilst those executions which originate with a prince offend the individual only." Niccolò Machiavelli

A nice thought but if you think the left is just going to fade away and we're going to claw back to where we were before they took over education and the media ( which they still control and almost certainly will continue to control) I fear you are going to be disappointed.

So in reality, feasibly, there are actually 3 possibilities. 1) We learn to get along with each other despite massive ideological differences and the tendency of some on the extremes to become unhinged, 2) We have some sort of national divorce or a return to what this country was ACTUALLY supposed to be, which is much more power to the states and much less power to the feds, where people would simply move to places that align with their ideologies or 3) Civil War.

I've been hearing about a possible 2nd Civil War for years. I think its more likely to be a 2nd American Revolution. In this case the people will rise up and take the country back from our own government.
I'm kinda hoping this last election just might be the beginning.

So, is this supposed to be a threat or something like that?

It would seem to me that these people don't understand how that's supposed to work. Hey guys, when you make a threat, there's supposed to be some negative consequences for non-compliance. Personally I fail to see a downside to New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut taking a hike.

Any chance you can persuade New Jersey to join the exodus?

Actually (IMHO) McDonalds makes much better tasting coffee. Timmie's is very acidy, to me anyway. It's kind of cultish like Starbuck's.
I'm the opposite, I can't stand McDonald's coffee.
Maybe because Tims is the closest to where I've worked for the last 15 years?
