Everything was going ok this morning, went to take my shower and my cat Cassie was outside the door, closed the door slowly and heard a thump and a hiss, some how she got her tail stuck in the door frame, 2 big clumps of fur, went to find her, she was under the sheets on our bed, blood was scattered about, checked her tail and it was bleeding, called vets up and rushed her out to them, she is still there now, been 3 hours, she has 2 places on her tail where her fur was pulled out, one about a quarter inch in length and the other 3/4 of an inch, one has stopped bleeding, not sure on the other one, she might have to get stitches if it doesn’t clot, I feel like an azz, I should have checked where she was at, my fault she got hurt, hopefully we get to pick up up and bring her home soon……

Pets are family. When our pets are hurting we worry about them like they're little children.

Our 2 year old female Rottie is always underfoot. Her toes have been stepped on a few times but haven't required a trip to the vet. Give Cassie a lot of attention when she gets home and all will be forgiven.

@Annihilator , sorry about your cat. She’ll be ok, and it will heal pretty well. Happened to my car long ago.
Your day will get better.

Now, as for AZ’s reply.. not to make light of the situation, but as a cat owner, the cat will not forgive or forget for a bit. They’re cats and will not forget what you did for a good week. 🙂
Just like a woman.

Got her home, no stitches needed, vet gave her a pain shot and did some kind of laser treatment on her, soon as I opened her carrier she came running over to me and slicked….thanks guys… still feel like 💩

Bad Daddy.

Luckily cats don’t hold a grudge! 🙄😎

Seriously, sorry to hear about Cassie. I’m sure she would want you to buy a new Sig to help you get through this distressing moment in your life. And not a cheap one. A Legion.
