Burnsville, Mn. Last night's news said the guy that killed the 2 Officers, injured 1 officer, killed medic while he was attending to an officer, got one of the guns from someone who legally purchased it at The Modern Sportsman. Store is not at fault, but wonder what the chain of ownership was. Shooting was several blocks up the street and Modern Sportsman a few miles other direction, same street. Modern Sportsman is a great shop and range with wonderful folks working there, I'm there a lot.

It's not just for new voters. The US Census counts EVERY person, including illegals, includes them on their census counts, and uses those numbers for congressional representation. We can all figure out what is happening and why, as long as you watch more than CNN. It is all intentional.

Since a firearm is involved they will throw an enhancer on it which is an additional 120 months (Feds use months)

If they were in it together (didn’t say if they were or did their own trafficking separately) they will also throw a conspiracy charge on them which is also if I remember right 120 months

They are probably using the conspiracy threat to get info there will be more arrests on it then we will know they cooperated aka 5K1 in their paperwork so they won’t be walking a normal GP compound

I have often been disappointed when the feds have failed to charge federal statutes in state gun crimes. It is one place the feds can help keep violent felons locked up.

Some in our agency got mad because the USA wouldn’t pick up charges for MJ possession inside the Federal Pen .like if they are already doing 360 months there not going through it for a small amount saving it for the dude over the limit on an interstate.

Gun crimes are sort of the same. However I do believe Chicago is an exception. We had a ton of Chicago area inmates that had firearms charges for being a felon in possession. Other areas if that’s the only charge (along with a minor drug or DUI) the states pick it up a lot if times

When my USSS buddy was chasing a counterfeiter it took awhile for the Western Dist.(okla) to say go get him. USMS and a OHP trooper ended up killing him.
