It has juice in it, so it's good for me, right? Beautiful day out...you wouldn't know that yesterday we had a nasty hailstorm that tried to tear the siding off the house. It's nice and I am thirsty. Later on when the fire table gets lit, maybe we'll break out some whiskey...if the husband has left us some

Having a nice Guinness and then my brother in law is breaking out the high dollar bourbon. Not sure what kind yet but I’ll give my thoughts on it later. If I’m able.

Buffalo Trace. Pretty smooth. Also had some Knob Creek. The Buffalo Trace was smoother and tasted better.

I like BT, but it’s really hit & miss being able to find it around here.

I usually just keep Woodford Reserve on hand.

Buffalo Trace....not sure I've seen it before. I'm sure one of the liquor superstores in Fargo may have it. I'll have to swing by after work and check.

Buffalo Trace is everywhere in southern WI. $25/bottle...Some stores charge as much as $30.

Most states its allocated.
It can run anywhere from $25 to $50+ depending how scarce it is in the state

Sazerac rye is a great inexpensive, usually easy to find Rye that makes a fantastic manhattan

My bartender is a whiskey guy; he noticed that someone had poured some of the Eagle Rare, asked if I’d had it…hadn’t; we both had a good smell off the bottle, and both thought the vanilla and cherry notes would make a great Manhattan…

And it most certainly did.

Eagle Rare is my favorite Bourbon to pour into a glass, sit back and sip, while enjoying a fine Dominican. I apologize for taking a mental sip of your Manhattan but it looked damn good.
