Range day - new eye 🧐

I had the Lasik over 20 years ago. Did wonders for me. Just got prescribed glasses last week. Started having trouble reading menus and newspapers have to hold out at arms length to read. Doctor advised against having any surgical procedures done since I had an eye infection which is now dormant. She said there's a very high risk of having the infection coming back with a vengeance if they open up the area. So back to wearing glasses for me...

Or worse, you could lose your eyesight!
 
Friday update:

Prep work for Mondays Shoot n Move class. 7-10-15 yard behind barricade and move. Cant wait for monday.

@SimonRL and I per usual routine . 3” targets. Static shoot.

Rest of mags at 15 yards.. threw some to the gods at 7oclock. I could literally feel the bad shot as I pulled the trigger on fast paced fire🧐😵‍💫 3” targets

Then on to some M17 work for the class

900 rounds through the Prodigy and it is running beautifully. I polished the feed ramp to see if I could get it to reliably feed Sig V Crown JHPs and Underwood JHPs, but no such luck. I’ll have to stick with the Hornady Critical Defense and Federal HST. This gun is running so well that my 226 Legion has not been to the range for about a month. I’ll be running my Archon Type B in Monday’s class. The Archon is like a Labrador, all it wants to do is please you and it never fails to do so.

Well, Monday never happened… neither did any more shooting last 6 days…

Covid struck with a Vengeance on Saturday evening into Tuesday… was not pleasant.

Didnt know I had it and passed it to my wife who it really kicked her butt.

Recovering with just “cold like” symptoms now, but was a crappy week… ☹️😷😷🤒🤒🥴🥴
