I have to definitely get one of these SA-35, none of my shops have them in my area, and the one I visit told me there not get any until the issue is fixed, by the look of things, I say Springfield got it fixed, also I don’t do online purchases, so I will try to wait patiently till I come across one.

i think it'll be worth the wait. you could always ask if a small deposit will hold one for you as well.

Well just got the Fedex confirmation. My SA-35 is due to arrive back to me sometime tomorrow. I called Customer service and the rep who was very helpful said according to their files they replaced the front sight with a brand new one and thoroughly went over the finish and conducted a safety check and thorough inspection. So fingers crossed hopefully tomorrow or saturday Ill get to bust some caps. Wish me LUCK......

I have a mid 2000 serial number…numerous failures to extract. After a decent break in of around 400 rounds returned to SA. Customer service was good and fairly quick but immediately started having problems again. I documented the problems with about 10 different brands of high quality ammo and included lots of photos. After the second repair it seems to be fixed as I have about 250 rounds through it without issue…..
I was definitely disappointed with the problem like everyone else…….but do love the pistol
I have about 1000 rounds through it now

Did they state what the corrective action was ?

Apparently, they had to engrave Springfield Armory over the FN roll mark. Which would also explain why his repaired SA-35 is now FDE. Good news is the gun now runs like a freight train.
