Shotgun gurus

Well, to be fair, it was more like the last two weeks or so (and to others, sorry about the temporary highjacking of this thread, but Bob insisted 😆):

Jeez dude. Save some guns for the rest of us. :ROFLMAO:

That HK is making me think bad things. My poor wife.

My only complaint is, i got stubby arms. The 14+" LOP is a shade long for me. But that Beretta fits like a glove, a velvet glove😏
Mesa Tactical makes their reduced LOP Urbino stock (riser & non-riser versions) for the 1301.

Also, GG&G makes stock adapters for Magpul Mossberg or Remington SGA Stocks which may offer a reduced LOP.

Also the true M1014 stock for the Benelli is collapsible. Which would be a must have for me personally.

The Mesa T Urbino threw me off when I first went shotgun hunting on the interwebz. I wasn't in love with the looks of it. I think it looks better on the Beretta than it does on the Benelli, but that's probably just because the first time I saw the M1014 in it's "True Form" I fell madly in love with it. In any case the Urbino is a very nice stock. The adjustable cheek weld is very nice. And the 13" LOP and the OAL of the 1301 makes it ridiculously fast and intuitive to handle. By standard LOP measuring it's waaaaay short for me, but man, it is sweet as hell to shoot. In my imagination it's just everything you want in a tactical shotgun. I have never had as much fun with a shotgun as I did taking it out last weekend. I very much would like to be on the range with it right now.

I still long for the M4, but I am madly in like with the 1301T. :)

I put a Phoenix collapsible AR style pistol grip stock on my 500 and it is about 8000 times better than any of the Mossberg standard stocks. I very much like that old girl too.

Ha, and I forgot to mention that the Christensen MPR is a carbon wrapped barrel w/ carbon handguard that I already ordered a Vortex Viper PST FFP MOA 3-15x44 scope w/ Vortex rings from Optics Planet. Still need bi-pods, other optics, etc., for the others and some firearms I bought about a month ago that I didn't even show here. Adding these accessories are adding up and together with these firearms purchases, killing my money supply.

Somehow I'm sure you'll muddle through brother. We don't ever buy anything without mentally adding up the cost of the accessories. And if you are like me you don't wait very long to get them and mount them up. I had half the stuff for my shotgun before I had the shotgun. :)

In my family, we call it the COO or cost of ownership. How much to buy, how much to make it "mine", how much to feed it. That's why near everything I have is common as a $2 whore. 9mm, 45ACP, 5.56, 7.62 and 12 ga. Everything I have is like an early small block chevy. All the parts are interchangeable, like legos. I ain't getting caught without, not ever again.

I heard that. I got caught a little shorthanded on 12 gauge last year. That's a mistake that will never happen again. Can't get your hands on flite control yet, but Power Shok is around. Unless I bought it all last week. ;)

Yeah, but damn, what a shotgun. All the reviews and comparisons between the M4 and the 1301 say the recoil is noticeably softer on the M4. The 1301 handles recoil VERY well so the Benelli must be a dream. I am imagining it is similar to felt recoil on the TS-12, which is an incredibly soft shooting shotgun. Magnum slugs feel about the same as 2 3/4 00B in the Beretta.

Alas, there are very few fields where excellent isn't good enough for Bassbob and shotguns is apparently one of them. Now that I have the Beretta out of the way my brain is acutely focused on securing the M1014. Again, I blame you. ;)
The recoil system in the ARGO reminds me of the kriss vector in a way? The bolt comes back a short way before the spring starts too move down. It could be compared too a radial delayed blowback?

Bet7, what do you do? Do you , like win lotteries and stay single. I don't even think 3rd world countries spend as much as you on firearms.
Single, retired with a modest pension but built up a nice savings account before leaving. I have investments and 401K that I don't touch, but with the current economy (Let's Go Brandon, get this economy moving again 😀 ), I'm taking a bit of a hit with the recent market fluctuations.
What's even worse, is I started my collection in 2014. I really do need to slow down, but these firearms just keep calling my name ;)

I have some accessories for them, but haven't yet mounted them. I'm just too busy running out getting new firearms Bob. I really need to think "what would Bob do", before I go broke, and you see me on the nearest street corner begging for change. 😫
