This is now my EDC! I'll need to pick up some Underwood ammo but beyond that, I'm ready

You’re gonna carry it already ? How many rounds have you put through it ? How much of the ammo you plan on carrying with have you put through it ?

I default to a minimum of 500 rounds with zero failures before I trust one. Just me.

Yep, 500 rounds is a good day at the range. It's going to be my EDC soon enough.

I'm not much into plastic, but this one is a pretty good substitute for a 1911. That was about the way it was advertised when it hit the market.

I have the 4" Mod 2 version. Very accurate and reliable pistol.

That's why dedicated open-carry users should have a Level 2 retention holster at the least. If you can find a Level 3 for your model, so much the better! That being said, while I prefer open carry after a long career carrying open (belt), I appreciate the ability to conceal when operating in semi- or non-permissive environments. Nobody at my church has the slightest clue that I carry; that way they're free to concentrate on God while I sit at the back with a clear line of sight to the front doors.

My OD Green Frame module arrived the other day for my Echelon 4.0 compact and I couldn't wait to get it on.
