Apps track you. And sell your info. All of them do that. For me to put an app on my phone I'd have to really need it.Don't drink the KoolAid!!!

So, all the APP’s I got on my iPhone including the ones pre installed track stuff, so I guess deleting them all and calling my iPhone a dumb phone is in my future……
Doesn’t matter on the tracking, I got nothing to hide or any personal information on my phone

I suppose ya gotta know that if you give them all your digits and info, they're gonna have some built in widget in their app that's gonna track your movement on their sites. We are all so naked and we don't even realize it!

That's not the issue. For me anyway. Whether I have something to hide or not they don't need to know where I am or what I buy or what I look at on the internet. I don’t live in my phone like others do, I have a few APP’s on it, mostly live radar since where I live we get lots of storms, and I need live radar not ones with 5-10 minute loop time, and I just use it for this forum mostly, and to call pizza in

That is why I only keep app on my PC and the log out.
On my cell, I log out and put to sleep app.

You know you can just google ( Town name) weather radar and get a live doppler feed from NOAA right ? I don't have any news channel apps or any of that other stuff and my job depends on it. As a matter of fact today it rained hard here for about 4 hours. I knew it was coming and had to dig two holes in someone's yard to do my job, one of which was up against the foundation. I was watching the radar all morning ( also 2 Jason Statham movies
) And yes, I had to cover those holes with boards and tarps and now I have to do 2 jobs tomorrow.

Yea, but it’s not live, actual radar, there is usually at least a 5 minute time between loops, the APP I use is less then a minute between loops, plus I can use its tools to check velocity and actually see rotation in storms, been a weather geek for years and Radar Scope so far is the best I have foundYou know you can just google ( Town name) weather radar and get a live doppler feed from NOAA right ? Identical issue here; I've been "registered" with Springfield with 0 changes since 2014. I've yet to decide the apps fate.

Well, I have slept on it and I figure that there isn't anything on the app that I can't see on my account dashboard on my computer, so I will give it a hard pass and keep my phone clean...at least for now.

FYI…. App had update, gives you a place now for notes, like round count, maintenance and such, nice little feature
