Stimulus Check

lol, both gone today.....:(

Hate hearing that man ...... but in these days, if you find something you want, you just can't afford to wait. People are snapping up anything that will go 'BANG' not even knowing (often not caring) what they are. I've got a couple friends in the business and they are constantly talking about the way things are selling.

Well, keep looking and maybe something else will pop up. (y)(y)(y)(y)

I’m retired. I checked the IRS site, and they’re mailing my $600.00 on 1/6. My registration on my 2019 Tundra is due soon, $523.00. So, I’ll pay that, and get some steak.

Holy crap man. Wow, where y'all live? $523.00 for a truck registration ...... I'm assuming that's for a year?

Mine on my Silverado for 1 yr is $88.79/yr and because of its gross weight is considered a commercial vehicle. In years past the registration was renewable each Dec rather than my birth month for that reason. This year however, the vehicles that fell into that category are all being revised to renew during our birth month, so that cost above is for about a year and 1/2.

We also have the ability to renew online and pay by credit card with a small 'convenience' fee of $3.50. So this year's renewal cost me just a little over $92.00 for about a year and 1/2. My next renewal will fall due in my birth month in 2022.

In MT once a rig reaches a certain age you can register it for life for about 2X the regular annual fee. I did that a couple years ago and am home free now.

It'll be interesting to see if this is something like that, but even that would be based at about $261.50/yr. Of course looking at it from the other end and depending on how many yrs you would keep it after that, it come out pretty cheap per/yr.

I don't know of anything similar to that down here except I think there's some way to do a one time registration on what's considered an antique. Don't know the particulars of it though. (y) (y)(y)

Just a heads up for some of y’all that might be affected by this. If you filed your taxes through H&R Block your stimulus payment might or will be delayed. This is due to the way H&R Block files the taxes for you using their account as the main account for your taxes to be sent to. They then send them to you normally on the same day they receive it. However due to this the stimulus checks are all being sent there and causing a delay for a lot of people. Don’t freak out your money is coming just being delayed by a few days.

IRS stimulus delay due to H&R Block.

Montana allows an owner to permanently register light vehicles that are over 11 years old, so it's not limited to antique vehicles.

Yes, one year registration. Arizona kills us on fees. They added a public safety tax last yr. that adds over $30.00. Vanity plate cost $25.00 yearly. The reg fee goes down a bit each yr as the vehicle ages.

So called “Tax free" New Hampshire really gets you also! I pay almost $9000 a year in real estate tax alone and even though there's no sales tax including on vehicle purchases here you pay it in your registration costs with the town you live in.

I get the worst from both worlds by living in NH and working in Massachusetts because NH doesn't have a state income tax but the company I work for is based in Massachusetts so I get slammed there also. A vast majority of people living in southern NH commute to Massachusetts for work in construction, financial, or tech fields.

Well my stimulus check was spent today, actually found .22lr and also this followed me and the ammo home.....

Glock 44.........yea, I know a Glock......😬😬😬😬
Nice pick-up!

Super extra can be picky in some pistols because of the waxey coating over the bullet. I bought a couple boxes from a guy at work a few 500 round boxes from a guy at work who was having trouble running it in one of his target pistols but it ran fine in all the .22lr pistols I tried it in.

It's nice they included 5 different back straps.
