Nice pick-up!

Super extra can be picky in some pistols because of the waxey coating over the bullet. I bought a couple boxes from a guy at work a few 500 round boxes from a guy at work who was having trouble running it in one of his target pistols but it ran fine in all the .22lr pistols I tried it in.

It's nice they included 5 different back straps.

On the ammo, since I bought a .22lr gun, I got half off the price on the ammo, so I figured it was a good deal.

It's actually a really nice .22lr to shoot being consistently accurate and reliable for me. I have a couple thousand rounds of aquila super maximum also.

Actually I went down to get a Uberti Jesse James SA in .45Colt, I called first to see if they still had it, 2 days before when I saw it price was $569.99, after I confirmed they still had it, I went down to buy it but price changed...now it was $639.99....seemed funny price changed after I called...... So as I was leaving I saw they had .22lr now and since they sold the Ruger I wanted I got the G44.

That's pretty dirty if they jacked the price because you were interested. There's an LGS near me that has done stuff like this before to people so I won't go near the place.

There used to be a shop that sold all firearms at MSRP, if a Colt or S&W was listed for 700.00 MSRP....that’s what you paid....I never bought anything there, but they were always busy....weird .

What I don’t get, and I am sure there are some local economics at play here with people buying those over priced at MSRP, I did make that mistake once as I was trying to support local but they gauged me. Now I have free ffl transfers with a range membership so buy all online. For us in IL we have a 3 day wait anyway so if I buy online, by the time it comes in I can take it home right away.

I want to support my LGS but don’t be criminal about it. The should also note that same LGS is now charging 35 for a box of ammo. Common.

It's not just your local LGS as I am sure you know. That doesn't make it any better though. I'm just glad I have a bunch of .22LR and a single action Ruger to shoot it out of. This slows me down from going through it so fast. LOL

Yes, I know its been beat to death. Supply and demand basics I guess. It is pretty interesting how 22LR has become harder to find gas well. Just a little less enjoyable when you have to pay a premium, but such a find when you do score!

Speaking of which I just found a couple good “deals” via covid pricing online on a hellcat I have to post. Dont ask why I keep watching prices even though I have one
