As they should be. This was a bad idea that tops the list of bad ideas.Don’t worry, it’s just a matter of time before Lego gets in on the act. They are very proactive about not associating their blocks with weaponry.
Just that it was still sealed in the box. Not implying anything.I wasn’t saying anything like that, don’t know where you got that interpretation from, I was just saying about the lego thing, that’s all, was just making a comment, maybe I should have stayed on my hiatus……..
Except they can't because that ship sailed long ago.As they should be. This was a bad idea that tops the list of bad ideas.
No problem TFL, I just couldn’t figure what you meant that’s all.Just that it was still sealed in the box. Not implying anything.
Bob, didn't that happen a couple yrs ago when some LEO's were called on and drove up on a young black kid at a park playing/displaying what appeared to be a dark/black semi-auto? IIRC he was either 11 or 14 yrs old. Seems like I remember a big story about that one. Granted that's not an example of "prolific", but that kind of situation has to be hard on both sides ...... the LEO involved in the shooting and the kid's family who thought him safe playing at the park. The only rational fear of guns that look like toys that I can see and even agree with is that if they were to become prolific, kids could get shot because someone, possibly a cop thinks they are pointing guns at them when in reality they are pointing a Nerf gun at them.

I also seem to remember a story about a 'gangsta' actually painting, orange barrel and all, then hiding his everyday gun in his kid's toy box.
I remember as a kid having a double holster set of "Roy Rogers" 6 shooters that fired caps and actually shot small plastic projectiles that we could reload. Never in a million yrs would have expected someone to mistake them for real. But today so many can't even recognize real from play guns due either to ignorance of the item or the fact that so many are so much more realistic today. Either way it's a bad deal!!!
I think the brits prefer rooftop entry nowRemember many of those as a younger kid. Used to be many types of capguns that took roll caps, stickyback caps, tear off squareback caps and some others. Haven't seen any in years....but haven't looked too hard either. Projectiles? There were a few had seen over the years from BB's to 2 piece to small darts. Roy Rogers? Yup, watched his shows many times. Sometimes still on reruns. Was sad, heard his museum closed not too long ago.
"Either way it's a bad deal!!! " - With all the anti gun commotion going on, maybe the Brit's really are thinking of coming back again? - Just this time trying to sneak in the back door?
Back door, rooftop, same deal?
This is what I’ve always pictured when the blokes start kicking’ in doors…Back door, rooftop, same deal?
Is new age too, things have changed a little over the centuries. Brit's finally got the one by now of one if by land, two if by sea thing, so they flew in trying to surprise us by skirting it by one more option? Guessing we may need to add a third light now? - Gotta give the darned pesky Redcoats some credit for trying though?
And, only the Brit's warped humor could come up with flying green camo Santa's?
Guessing sometimes, green is the new red for them?
Ahh.. the embassy raid that made the MP5 famousThis is what I’ve always pictured when the blokes start kicking’ in doors…View attachment 19005
As predicted. Don’t jack with Lego.
Utah company halts sales of Lego handgun case kits after cease and desist
Culper Precision said on Instagram of the kits: ‘We wanted the second amendment to simply be too painful to tread on’www.google.com
I had the opportunity to take a class that was taught by one of the blokes that was on the “B” team for that operation.Ahh.. the embassy raid that made the MP5 famous
Yup, we did.
We saw that a mile away
All have met so far are good decent guys. They rib no different than anyone else.I had the opportunity to take a class that was taught by one of the blokes that was on the “B” team for that operation.
Eye opening.
And anyone who wants to knock on the Brits…play with someone from the 22nd. You’ll get realigned right quick.
It’s not the patent, it’s an image thing and Lego fights arduously to keep it clean. All those other blocks, what’s the first name that falls off people’s tongue? Lego. Lockheed Martin offered to provide all the data Lego needed to create a Technix F-35 and Lego didn’t just say no, they said hell no. They didn’t have a problem doing a Porsche GT3 though. (Probably just trying to keep the Germans sweet in case they go an an invading streak again!)Legos patents expired, just change the name to Building Block Glock. Anyone can now make building blocks to the same specs as the originals.
It does not matter Lego no longer has the patent and anyone can make blocks that are the exact specs as real deal legos. That’s why generic toy companies all make bricks that now work perfectly with Lego brand. Once Trademark and Patents expire it’s common use domain now. Exact same thing as a 1911 anyone can make one. That’s why Lego updated new construction type bricks and special bricks those are still under patent. Building bricks are made by every toy company under the sun. Lego can fight but they would ultimately loose, the coaster does not have the resources to fight back and tell them to shove it. As long as he does not call it the ”Lego” gun everything else is free. Plenty of companies make building brick weapons Kits Brickmania is just one. Nothing Lego can do.It’s not the patent, it’s an image thing and Lego fights arduously to keep it clean.
