Guilty as charged! Been known to have this issue from time to time, good read!

Just wish i could put em in a group low left, mine are always all over the place.

I do it mostly with a trigger that's hard to pull or has a very long travel

I sometimes experience it with a new (to me) pistol, especially a striker pistol. A few disciplined rounds with consistent grip, stance, aiming and trigger finger placement and control will correct it.

I rarely have shots land low and left. However, I do pull shots low to 6 o'clock when I speed up my trigger pull. I have a recurring problem of "right now!" when the red dot approaches point of aim.

Ok, now this may be hard to believe, but it’s true, I can shooter better with a rough trigger then I can with a nice smooth one, can’t figure out why, but I have always been like this

Could it be that you are not taking it up to the wall and THEN pausing, getting sight picture, breath, etc.... ?

When i first started i would shoot low left. Now i just shoot left of my point of aim, regardless of the hand gun. It drives me nuts.

Since i had surgery in my shooting hand this problem does show up some days. I just live with it even though it does aggravate me.

The trick is to find a shooting buddy who shoots lower left than you. I’m not pointing fingers, I’m just sayin’…

This sounds like a different take on the “NOW” drill

My observations. For a right hand shooter on low. Left or low and left. When they are shooting around 3-5” low at 5-7 yards they are squeezing tighter at the last moment. To rectify this I like to have them squeeze as tight as they can from the start but not so tight the gun is shaking (I mean don’t choke it out it doesn’t owe you money)

If the shot is a foot or feet low then it’s severe anticipation. The ball and sunny drill will show.

As far as left I have seen that also be a grip issue as the fingers want to follow the trigger finger. OR finger trigger placement is on the top and not the middle of the pad or first joint. I have been a first joint shooter since the revolver days and did it with DA/SA autos. It also works for Glocks and is just a way not the way. However I have seen it rectify the low and left shooters more times than not.
