He charges the government not only for his expenses, but also for the expenses of his security detail’s accommodations.

How is that not funneling it into his own pocket?
 
The current obiden doj under garland would never prosecute obiden for any criminal act. Remember the Hur report...he's a poor old man with a bad memory.

Hopefully that may change in 2025...

I appreciate and agree with sentiment expressed in this column!

Before you think all is lost, just remember that criminals who hurt or kill children tend not to do well in general population. All it takes is for a sympathetic guard to leave a door open, "forget" to check-in on someone and justice will be done.

It's happened in my blue state and can happen elsewhere.

when you people who support this crap it makes it difficult to beat! so, send them to live with those who are ok with setting them free like most of the dem run city mayors letting murderers, rapist and other violent out during early covid. houston was party to this when it didn't take long for someone to get murdered by 1 from being released. sf and seattle were 2 more places.

Call me simple, but I fail to understand how this compares to accepting money from countries who are our enemies to work against the American people.

It's Trumps fault that biden committed treasons at the expense of America, right ? He made biden throw the country under the bus so his son could sacrifice the country (for the amount of money Trump carries in his pocket as small change), and then Trump made biden pardon hunter for anything he did or may do, right ?

if we point at tax payers being charged for presidents security 2x..look no further than bush x2, clinton, lbj, and obuma
they all provide a GUEST quarters on their estates for the SS to live....but they charge the gov rent on the areas that security uses to provide security for person.

i despise wasteful spending

but who ever is pres or VP and they have to travel on the tax payers dime to do our countries business ..or on vacation
there is cost involved and we cover it ...it wont change and it should not change
but the costs should be in line with norms... security is costly this day in age, no matter who sits in the big chair

if places are provided for free by donors or friends...their should be no TAX break for that provider and only costs passed to taxpayers to cover actual security and travel.....NO LODGING ..
just like when i was a gov contractor, if our lodging was provided by the entity we visited, then we could not put in a travel claim for lodging, .....only food and travel . its in the gov code.

i loved it...we stayed in some awesome places that would normally be off limits or very very pricey to stay.

we need to look at congressional trips, that bring family members etc...to places around the globe
why are we covering the family members costs???
congress should get only 2 weeks a year and all fed holidays...off
no weeks on end being off
 
1. Joe's brain is mush. The democrat/liberals are gonna push through every thing on their agenda they possibly can in his final days. Joe just signs what put in front of him.
2. In this country we have a LEGAL system. Its had very little to do with justice for a very long time.
3. Vigilante Justice is wrong. Reasons already mention. However, Col. Cooper had it right.
