the moron's last days in office continue to fail amercan citizens

JB has spent 40%+ of his time in office on "physical" vacation, aside for the 99% of his term on "mental'" vacation.

Considering DJT donated his entire paycheck in various govt agencies, while JB/HB spent most of their time shaking down various entities for $$ kick-backs I'll wager DJT 1.0 spent way less then 5% of his time on "leave".

how is he signing BILLS?
did congress pass some laws and he has just been waiting to sign them????
EO are not law, where as bills become law if he signs or refuses to sign them after a period of time, as long as congress passed them... so how is he suddenly signing BILLS into law/

obama and obiden ruled their administrations with their pens signing executive orders, none of which were 'law'. They can be signed anywhere and any time. All can be reversed by an incoming administration.

Don't believe what the media says.

Executive orders signed:

Biden: 148, 1 term..

Trump: 220, 1 term.

Obama: 147, first term; 129, second.

So, if you look at numbers of EO’s issued per term…Trump issued 50% more than either Obama or Biden.

So…perhaps you should reevaluate who you should be accusing of “ruling by executive order”, hmm?

I disagree with much of past presidents have done but I have a different view of executive orders. The President has broad powers granted by the law and constitution to control and supervise the operation of the executive branch of the federal government. Congress has also delegated certain specific powers in law to the executive. It is not possible or practical for Congress to enact a law for every task the executive branch must perform. Executive Orders are instructions to employees of the executive branch on how to carry out their duties. In my view an energetic, effective executive is going to motivate staff to propose new ways of doing business. Most executive orders are prepared and suggested by staff based on their understanding of the President's intent. They are orders that are binding on employees of the federal government. Executive Orders are not the law and are subject to judicial review, and are reversible by subsequent orders. So in my view, Executive Orders are not in themselves a bad thing, especially if you want to change how the government carries out its duties. I expect to see a flurry of them coming out of the Oval Office after January 20th.

I've bemoaned the fact of government not behaving as the citizenship wanted in a very long time. However, life was better for the wife and I under Trump 1.0. Fast forward to post election 2024. DOGE was conceived by me and adopted by the incoming administration. Lest you think I'm bragging, I posted several times about how we could transform our runaway spending and government bloat at the same time. The concept is quite simple. If we (government) take in X dollars, we simply roll back spending to that point in time to match it and cut departments/agencies to that funding level. The new Trump team trolled news and media and glommed onto my inspiration. Maybe not in all forms or to my visionary concept, but everyday I see examples of it. Delete the Dept. of Education, get rid of the silly Gun Violence Prevention office in the WH, etc. I'm even getting requests for ideas from the Trump organization and have been getting invitations to the inauguration. I would never visit DC and abhor meetings ad nauseum, but I can give the occasional contribution of thought (not money). I have some ideas about taxing NGOs, dark money PACs and possibly 501C-3s, but I shall need to spend some range time as I ponder the possibilities.

32% of Trump's E.O.s were revoked. That brings Trump's number of E.O.s down to around the same number as Biden and Obama. And I'm pretty sure Biden will try to squeeze in a few more before he leaves office. I'm looking forward to Trump breaking a record of revoking previous Executive Orders.

Bidens executive orders were all aimed at destroying the country. Most Americans could give a **** about EO's other than ones that are affecting them. and Biden's affected us all and not in a good way. what most people care about is was life easier under Trump or Biden and i got news for you if you think it was Biden. you may have TDS so bad you can't see the real damage Biden and Harris has done to us. and is still doing to us.

Do you need to have advise and consent by the Senate?

That's pretty much it. The last Congress of Joe's admin just ended. You'd be surprised at how many laws get passed the the general public never hears about. Ain't no telling what garbage is just waiting for his signature.
