They are going to have a tough road with gun control

Rise in Latino and Asian minorities by nearly equal amounts, once they understand that they need to protect themselves and their loved ones because law enforcement has been castrated by these moronic progressive politicians and policies being instituted they are making the only logical decision. When seconds count, law enforcement is minutes away.
 
What I wonder... and I'm kinda new to this owning guns thing. I was in the Army for 10 years so I shot there guns, then in law enforcement for over 20 years and with raising kids and life only had my 3 work handguns and 1 AR-15 they eventually allowed us to get and carry. Kinda funny.

Then I retired 5 years ago and that's when I started my gun obsession, I retired with 5 guns and now have over 50 with half being AR-15 style platforms. Going to the range every week, building platforms etc etc it's my retirement hobby. Now I'm very much in tune with the 2A watch.

With the defund the police and suspects as victims now-a-days gun purchasing from a lot of Americans have skyrocketed. For self defense purposes. How exactly are they going to ban "assault rifles", AR-15's. I mean I just invested a lot of time and money in my collection I don't plan of giving any of them up. Are they going to make millions of Americans immediate criminals for owning? I really don't understand how that will work when we need to protect ourselves and families from the society they made and we now live in.

Just my opinion... uneducated opinion. Late to the party I guess. lol
 
I sure hope it's tough going for the gun restriction and confiscation crowd. I don't know that the elites in positions of power really give a rip about those they pretend to care about. For them, it's about preservation and consolidation of power and wealth in their hands. Guns in the hands of the people they desire to lord over gives those unwilling subjects too much ability to resist.

There will certainly be the panicked cries that we  must "do something". They are quite willing to politicize the tragic deaths of innocent people to advance their political agenda. The fact that  none of draconian ideas they advance would have done nothing to prevent those tragedies will be dismissed as uncaring rhetoric from constitutionalists. The alligator tears from the Marxist left will influence far too many of the uninformed and unthinking members of the general public.

In their perfect scheme i would imagine them making the manufacture and sale of AR platform guns illegal. That stops the proliferation. Next they would limit the sale of 5.56/.223 and 7.62 to LEO only. This would effectively wipe out the AR platform as the existing ammo is used up… except for LEO and military.

My opinion, it might not be that hard now since Lindsey Graham stated on Fox news that he is ok with what Biden suggested the night he had his speech, never thought he would turn into a RINO…… very disappointed

Grahmnesty has been a RINO for a while. He only knows how to pay lip service. He gets righteously indignant when the political winds tell him to. Just my opinion and observation.
 
My heart goes out to all of the employees and owner(s) of Daniel Defense. The :poop:-storm that has already hit them is breathtaking. I just fell in love with their furniture recently...as good as it gets. Brace for the illogical knee-jerk reaction of our elected representatives.

That would also impact a bunch of bolt guns chambered in .223/5.56 and .308/7.62. Don't know if many law enforcement departments use 7.62x39.

Hopefully, they aren't willing to pay the political toll this would require. Citizens need to make sure that their congressmen and senators understand that they will be held accountable for any votes to compromise the second amendment. Remind them that a vote for Biden's gun restriction and confiscation plan is tantamount to political suicide.
 
Ask yourself this. If every policy and decision of the current administration have been terrible for America and its citizens, why would gun control be different? There is a pattern of creating crises, blaming others and then offer solutions which don't solve them. The frenzy that started this latest push was because of Uvalde. Joe says he isn't interested in hardening schools. He also says blah, blah, blah, blah............
