Yeah I looked at those. This is a Backdraft Cobra...factory built in South Africa, where they are still making 1965 models. It is completed there except for the naughty bits...the engine and transmission have to be selected by the customer, then their agent in the States installs it. Add gas and oil and it is 1965!

Technology has its place...and its place is right there under the hood! 1000 HP on pump gas with a factory warranty no less. They are impressive. But the Cobra makes me feel 17 years old again, bombing around town as the King of Columbia. I could not put a price tag on that...but Backdraft Racing does. https://www.backdraftracing.com
Cobras are nice, a friend of mine used to have a replica, typically not a Ford guy, I will say give them credit for still making gas powered mustangs and Ford didn’t cave into the EV crap like Dodge has just done.

i just wanted to make sure i got 1 with a crossover roll bar, not just the driver's side. that made options less of who made them. i haven't driven a car in 30 years (only p/u's and suv's). don't know what it's like to drag my *** that low and not sure if i want to! i'm on the lookout for another '65 stingray with a decent price and could care less on how genuine/factory it is as i know there won't be any with a mfi (mechanical fuel injection) 327 to find! i think '65 was the 1st year for that along with 4-wheel disc brakes. the '65 i had with the upgraded brakes would stop in less than 100' going from 110 to 0 back when brakes were useful unlike this anti-stopping braking sytem of today.
