you caught that tooo??? amazing it was young grasshopperIt's odd that the seasonal flu that supposedly killed so many annually, according to the medical profession, was suddenly eradicated during the CCP global pandemic.

Remember its a 2 jab affair!I recently hit another milestone(50) a few weeks back.
Doc recommends getting the shingle’s shot. I am apprehensive but leaning towards just taking the shot.
I hear the long term nerve pain is not to be taken lightly. Your thoughts and experiences are appreciated.
well, you have your reasons for your distrust in both.doc offered it to me a couple weeks ago and i passed on it. maybe next year but my confidence in docs and pharma are in the crapper about now.
As a diabetic, I have diabetic neuropathy, and if my A1C isn't controlled, the burning/tingling/cold numbness is intense in my legs and arms. I somewhat control that currently with 600mg of Gabapentin (2 - 300mg capsules 2x daily (which is considered low since dosages can go up to 3600mg per day for severe cases)). I was told by my doctors that Shingles would show similar symptoms to the neuopathy, and potential worse. I'm pretty sure I never had Chicken Pox (the same virus that causes shingles and could live within one that had Chicken Pox causing shingles later on), plus I was vaccinated as a youngster for Chicken Pox (although my sister told me I did get it one time, but what does she know ). Anyways, to be cautious, I did submit to the two shots given with some time duration apart (weeks?), and experienced no adverse symptoms.I recently hit another milestone(50) a few weeks back.

I get it. There are good docs out there. There are meds produced by pharma that save people’s lives every day. I full appreciate the need for all if that. However, what i saw unfold from the science side of things with covid was appalling, dishonest and made me question the people i used to hold in high regard when it came to scientific integrity and rigor. I am a research scientist with close to 30 yrs experience at the bench in academia, small biotech and large biotech, so i’ve been around the block a few times in the science world. The very people who are supposed to question current thinking and conduct analysis with an air of skepticism barked like circus seals at the whims of the once respected CDC. Doctors and scientist (myself included) who questioned what came from the gub’mint boobs were shouted down and called “deniers” when in actuality we were doing what we were trained to do. People’s careers were ruined because they did their job. So yeah, i look at the “industry” with a jaundiced eye.well, you have your reasons for your distrust in both.
i on the other hand, have confidence in my doctors, yes i said doctors.....
they look, test, build up a file (chart) on me and the Mrs, and know the courses of action.
several years ago, i severely hurt my back, necessitating 3 major back surgeries one after the other.
the specialist, a neurosurgeon was working on my spine where the angle hair like spaghetti nerves are found.
i had to have faith in him, his ability and his operating room staff.
it's a toss of the dice, who, or what to believe in or sure.
but if one does not have faith in the medical professionals we seek out, then why bother complaining when we have issues...
not that you did, i'm just saying......
i too am a type II diabetic, and as such, i am more susceptible to to problems.. i am on pills for the diabetes. As a diabetic, I have diabetic neuropathy, and if my A1C isn't controlled, the burning/tingling/cold numbness is intense in my legs and arms. yeah, i found it "strange" a covid vaccine came out so quick.....and all the push back on that.I get it. There are good docs out there. You're lucky, I am a diabetic and have been on insulin for years.i too am a type II diabetic, and as such, i am more susceptible to to problems.. i am on pills for the diabetes.
my A1C, fluctuates, but my doctor said i still have things under control, well enough to keep me off insulin..thank god (for now)
i had all the vaccines (that one big dent in my left arm..!!) when i was a kid too, but i still got the chicken pox, and the measles. and in later life, the flu's.
i even had "walking pneumonia" when i worked in a garage, and didn't even know it, until i was so sick, the doctor had an x-ray done...so i have since had if i recall, 2 different pneumonia shots, i think the last one was that Prevnar 19
as diabetics, we should not tempt fate.
i got grandkids, and now great grand kids, i wanna see grow up.........so i can teach them to torture thier parents....
i keep trying my best to keep the A1C low, below 7..You're lucky, I am a diabetic and have been on insulin for years.
in the end, we each gotta do what's best for us, and family.......no one can berate or knock someone's opinion on his/her health or trust.Got the first Shingles vax during covid, then witnessed the corruption of the industry regarding vaccinations, then refused the second shingles vaccine. I cannot support that industry any more than I have to. Unfortunately I've been on insulin for 50 years and continue to support corruption. It's either that or die, so......
All of your points are valid. The biggest question you raise is the last one. Who do you believe? Part of the problem was that they (cdc) didn’t have all the answers but was still putting out information like they had the answers and many times things had to be walked back. Sometimes doing “something” is worse than doing “nothing”. Don’t even get me started on the testing. I teach a section of a virology class about viral diagnostics and use the cdc PCR test (the gold standard supposedly) as an example of how NOT to design and in vitro diagnostic assay. Inused to do that type of work. A conservative estimate is that 5% of those assays were false positives and when you run 2-5 million a day that’s alot of people who couldn’t go to work, couldn’t collect a pay check etc but were actually not covid positive. However, those tests made a ton of money for people. Who cares if they’re accurate, right? I warned the head honcho at my university about it but he dismissed me out of hand. I was vindicated when they started to change the testing parameters because of all the false positves.yeah, i found it "strange" a covid vaccine came out so quick.....and all the push back on that.
i also saw all those truck trailers, loaded with dead bodies..........
having a weak(er) immune system like i do (as a diabetic) what to do..??
catch covid and die..??? take the shot and have worse health issues later..??
wife and i, and pretty much my entire family, friends, and relatives, reported no issues.
toss up.......science people like you (and others).......laymen like us......who to believe...what to do..??
Eradicated? Not hardly. Greatly diminished, absolutely. The intelligensia claims that mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing, etc. enhanced by covid protocol are mainly responsible. It's odd that the seasonal flu that supposedly killed so many annually, according to the medical profession, was suddenly eradicated during the CCP global pandemic.
And many of us do not believe the intelligencia, as maybe you do not? Maybe the millions that had symptoms of the cold/flu and were diagnosed as covid, had the cold/flu? No way would our government would ever lie to us...not possible.Eradicated? Not hardly. Greatly diminished, absolutely. The intelligensia claims that mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing, etc. enhanced by covid protocol are mainly responsible.
