I did my monthly grocery shopping today. Light month, didn't need much. That helped a lot. Sam's went well. Kroger was a bit of a pain because I'm still learning where everything is after the last rearrangement. I muddled through and at least that's done for another month.
BTW: they were busy putting up all the Christmas displays.

Went to WalMart last night about 6PM. They had about 4-5 actual, real, human cashiers. No waiting in lines. Got right up to a cashier. Young guy, friendly enough. Joked around a bit.

We have discovered that FIr evenings are a great time to go. Store is well stocked but not crowded.
