What are you doing right now??

Fun range day. Got home and looked at ammo in bag-Federal 124 grn. JHP Hydro Shock-what is Hydro-Shock? Is it good for Hellcat Pro? Have always used Federal 124 JHP and range FMJ. Will Hydro shock cause a problem? Thanks to all you wise folks.
Out of a 4" BBL. or longer it does pretty good. ---> https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/...ef2734483f3f0a702fdbc7953c721ca4&action=click

Dinner was well worth it. Smoked brisket, potato Latkes, cole slaw, rolls and spice cake. I once again ate too much from my stocking and had to skimp on dinner. I got a nice bottle of fancy tequila. Someone is going to spoil me. It's 33 degrees out this morning. Brrrrr. We'll head back after the wife gets up. The traffic on the way down was a breeze. I'd like the same on the return. I guess all the traveling was done before we left. Something to keep in mind for next time. I'm bored with the news, so I may peruse Bud's Guns in a bit.
Was just there and sent some ammo my way. Shockingly low price.

Thanks, I just hope it's good food for my Hellcat Pro. I ordered some Federal 124gn JHP from Bud's today. $16.95 for 20, got 2 since it's only for CC-not range. Also use Federal for range-124gn FMJ. Some great folks here told me to "carry what I shoot for practice" so it all matches up. Good range day, about 70 rounds or so. Old lady hands gave out. Appreciate the info.

I might posit regarding practicing with what you carry....if you can afford it, do so! However, if you shoot 1-2k rounds/month to practice, it might make sense to find a practice round that acts like your carry round from your Hellcat. FMJ rounds are 1/2 the price of carry ammo...however, if you are unable to practice like you implied....my advice might be not worth a darn.

Please keep up the good work and posting. Most of us enjoy hearing from you.

Hi, thanks. Looking up what + P is. I think I put practice what I shoot without explaining I use Federal 124 JHP for EDC and same Federal 124 in FMJ for range-less than practicing with JHP but same weight and feel.Every few months I do actually use a few JHP for range as I switch out Plus 1 round every time I go. I have only carried for a year so still learning but last target was really the best I have done. Also in the Armory magazine a while back I read how Punch was made for less expense for range. Watching Lena Mucelik ( 9 times world champ)video learned she shoots with 2 fingers on outside of trigger space, my hands are so small I tried it with 1st finger outside trigger spot and it really helped. When I get a good grip my son can use a sharpie to draw a line down both thumbs so I can line up again. Happy day to all.

Planning to head out soon into Corpus Christi to take my daughter and her boyfriend out to my daughter's favorite Italian restaurant for a belated birthday gift. Gonna get dressed up too. Putting on my cleanest athletic shorts, a pocket Carhartt tee-shirt, white ankle socks, and finally, a pair of SKECHERS! And to top off my ensemble, a fanny pack holster for my VP9SK. I can already hear Bassbob's head exploding!

Sandals with white socks might better complete your ensemble....
