What are you doing right now??

Dinner was well worth it. Smoked brisket, potato Latkes, cole slaw, rolls and spice cake. I once again ate too much from my stocking and had to skimp on dinner. I got a nice bottle of fancy tequila. Someone is going to spoil me. It's 33 degrees out this morning. Brrrrr. We'll head back after the wife gets up. The traffic on the way down was a breeze. I'd like the same on the return. I guess all the traveling was done before we left. Something to keep in mind for next time. I'm bored with the news, so I may peruse Bud's Guns in a bit.

The drive back was ok, just not as sweet as the drive down. Despite having a fairly clear road, there were too many going slow in the left lane, trucks too when there were signs saying trucks stay right. I hope they got lumps of coal for Christmas. Dirty, rotten SOBs. We left our cooler again and this time, the dog dishes as well. 5:15 might have had something to do with it.
Almost forgot, we got gas at $2.29/gal.

Any brand that professional offers for sale is generally good. Goulds/Xylem, Franklin Electric, Sta-Rite, Berkeley, Myers, AY McDonald, Grundfos, Flint and Walling....all good main-stream options in the industry.

You might do some research if your guys recommend a VFD installation. I sell hundreds of these every year, and unanticipated issues can arise. Since you have a traditional pressure switch set-up...I might stick with that...
The 33 year old pump had developed a crack up where the down pipe connects, it was replaced with a Franklin Electric Series V pump.

The well company doing the work for me just finished drilling a well for one of my newest billionaire neighbors... it's pumping 400 gpm!

Been up for a while, but I slept in late. I must’ve rolled over wrong in my sleep as my rib cage feels like I was in a car wreck and took the steering wheel at high velocity. Merely breathing is intensely painful and wearing a certain female undergarment is out of the question. Sporting a baseball sized bruise too.
I thought it was getting better as it happened a week ago, but…nope. Therefore no range today, maybe tomorrow if I can breathe 😎.
So…I’m binge watching Dexter, one of my old favorites, and not moving around much.

Fun range day. Got home and looked at ammo in bag-Federal 124 grn. JHP Hydro Shock-what is Hydro-Shock? Is it good for Hellcat Pro? Have always used Federal 124 JHP and range FMJ. Will Hydro shock cause a problem? Thanks to all you wise folks.
Hydro Shok is federal self defence ammunition. Generally it is designed to expand greater and provide a larger shallower wound channel. A lot of people like it a lot. It will not damage your pistol and should shoot just fine, it may or may not shoot better out of your individual pistol, shooting it will tell you that. The only problem it should give is to any orc it hits...

Yeah, those cracked heads are less common today than in years past...the injection molding process has improved, as has the polymer used for the part. That cracked head will act exactly like a hole in the pipe.

I used to sell the Franklin series 5 (V) maybe 10 years ago. Good pump.

I'm betting that 400gpm is for a massive sprinkler system in their McMansion as well as irrigating a huge lawn. Funny, 7-10gpm will supply plenty of water for a regular family of 5-7 people. For comparison, a 50gpm pump will supply enough water for a dairy farm with 1000 head of cattle. (I'm not suggesting that a dairy that large should only have 1 pump and 1 well that size....just making a comparison on how we spend our resources).
