Know what ya mean. VA payed for my surgery but took over 2 months to get approval and surgery was re-scheduled 2 times waiting for that approval. Hope you get some relief soon.
I won't let the VA touch me. I have good insurance and will use that before I let the VA near me. I'm still waiting on my claim for my right knee (service connected, by the way) total knee replacement surgery I had done Oct. 16th, 2024, under my own insurance. My back falls in with other claims that are under a higher-level review, of which the VA has come back with "A duty to assist" response. Which means they made a mistake in denying that claim in the first place. But still waiting on the VA to get off their a$$. Oh, and never mind the claim I have under appeal for almost a year now, with probably another year to go for a decision. Yup, there is a reason I won't let the VA touch me. If I haven't heard anything on my knee claim by the end of the month, I'm going to get my congressional representative involved. I know there are some out there that have had good luck with the VA, but I'm not one of them.

Don't blame you for being pissed off at the VA. My surgery was in my hometown by civilian doctors. Can't remember what the VA program was called that I used.
