What are you doing right now??

I’m not meeting someone to do a gun trade…annoying, but when they contacted me on Armslist, offered the trade, we agreed, then they set the place to meet (90 mile drive for me, and them…), and then went silent when I tried to confirm the meet yesterday (meet is supposed to be today)…

Nope. I’m not gonna drive close to two hours to be disappointed.

HG - I know you know this already, but, make sure it isn't in the middle of nowhere and you being alone. Caution.
Definitely.

The meet was going to be at a gun store…I’ve been doing Armslist for at least 13 years now, and that’s where I try and do all of my meets. Always during daylight hours as well…

I can only think of one time I didn’t do that; met a guy at a gas station, but…he said I’d be able to recognize him from the police car he was driving. True story; he was a K9 officer at MSP airport, and I met him on his break. Got a nice Italian Beretta 92FS Inox from him.

Still made him show me his permit, though.;)

Mine looks similar to that. Except there is a separately controlled "Beer" drawer between the french doors and the freezer drawer.

To answer your next question, 33 degrees.
I joined VFW during the Vietnam War. I was told the beer in VFW posts is kept at 33 degrees. I found this to be true at every post I visited over the years. A tribute to the veterans who had to drink warm beer overseas.

Almost done with the coffee. Man, this cold snap could end real soon and I wouldn't mind. -27 at the homestead as we speak. Ah well, it's my Friday as I decided not to work tomorrow. Just too tired. I will brave the cold tomorrow and hit the range though. I have a few guns to break in ;) . Happy Thursday y'all
