What are you doing right now??

February 13th, 1996 we lost our oldest Daughter, Laura Denise, due to complications with Marfan Syndrome. Her Daughter, Megan Jewel, was born on January 18th. Her pregnancy was very high risk and was advised to abort the pregnancy. I talk to her picture every night before going to bed. We miss her so much.

Sittin here watching a Vortex video on a 3x prism scope. dude rolls it over to show bottom and "BAM" there it is..big letters made in china. sheesh. was thinkin about one, but why pay 3 times the price for chinese stuff when you can get other chinese stuff for less. i took a screenshot.

getting ready to go to the LGS, for at least 2 boxes of name brand 45 ACP...then, for the "schlitz and giggles" part, gonna look at a Blue label G-19 with MY price list, and see if the store ...1) has one in stock...and...... 2) what the actual price will be. Blue Label pricing is at $425.

running around in my mind to switch out the Hellcat (too small of a grip) to the G-19, which the other day at the range i held a new Gen 5, and it fit super, with no "hangover" of my palm past the magwell......

Rylee approves of her new fridge
I replaced our refrigerator with a basic, no frills model. No water dispenser and no automatic ice machine, just a large one with top freezer. The money saved could easily purchase a gun. I think it's 21 cu. ft. and works great for just the two of us. Big enough to hold everything, but not so big science experiments get lost in the mix.

Oh man I am so sorry. The loss of a child is an awful thing to bear. Treasure memories of good times

second a condolences for your loss,
talking to the ones we love, whether its a picture or the feeling of their presence does wonders for the mental side.
we may loose the body they occupied on their short run on the mortal coil, but the soul and spirit we enjoyed and loved never fades away

i know many do not believe in ghosts or spirits or whatever the name they are called...but they or something always feels like it they are just a finger point away
could just be the brain dealing with it
but i bet they are still here, we just don't have the pleasure of seeing them in the human body form

So very sorry for your loss, while we don’t have any children, I can’t imagine what you went through, you got friends here if you need anything, you take care of yourselves.

Cannot imagine what that is like, Brother. My heart goes out to y'all.
