So I got this mole you see now this mole is a lot smarter than me. he is around my fire pit I have had four traps out for a week now and ain't got him he goes around my traps or makes new tunnels well I done had enough went and bought four more traps I have eight traps out I told the wife if I don't get him this time I'm going to put a big sign down there that says I Surrender you can have the yard

So I got this mole you see now this mole is a lot smarter than me. he is around my fire pit I have had four traps out for a week now and ain't got him he goes around my traps or makes new tunnels well I done had enough went and bought four more traps I have eight traps out I told the wife if I don't get him this time I'm going to put a big sign down there that says I Surrender you can have the yard

My husband has been using smoke sticks for gophers. He finally relented and used his blowtorch and a little propane. The little bastards are really tenacious.

yesterday was gloves on range day (bc I might be wearing gloves at the SD event - you never know) pics include 9 mm, G34 9mm federal range ammo, 10 yds, two others SW MP2.0 10mm, magtech rg ammo, 10 yds - was a perfect sunny day but the wind up in the hills was cold.

Plumbers are here installing a Hot water heater and later garage door repairman for a new opener.
Both are original to the house from early 2006. Both took a days apart.
75 gallon water heater that had to be ordered and took almost a week.
Been 2 weeks without hot water. Glamping in a 4 bathroom home is no fun.
I’m going to take a 45 minute shower just to make up for 2 weeks of cold showers at 6am

Just got back from getting bloodwork done. I'm starving and the wife is out walking. I'm thinking of pancakes with sugar free syrup and an omelet and my stomach is starting to howl.

Have you tried the pellets of mole poison down the hole ?

Don't have gopher problems, but do have a Beagle, Maggie Marie, that digs shallow holes all over our backyard.

That sounds good, as a side suggestion, down here we use Agave syrup or sometimes prickly pear syrup - awesome taste - give a try sometime if you already haven't.
