i dunno about spring here....on the calendar, it says its spring.

we still have to put the heat on in the early mornings (about an hour before i wake up, i turn it on, then go back to bed)

just yesterday, the wife and i saw the first robin in the garden.

that little guy had on a puffy coat, knitted hat and insulated boots.

I always wait till the next day to clean my guns, that way all the powder and stuff creeped out if all the expansion cracks that’s in all barrels, if you ever notice if you clean the gun when you get home, go run a patch down the barrel the next day or two and more stuff comes out, expansion cracks, perfectly normal in guns
I never get around to it until the next day at least. My range days are Fridays now, and the weekends have lives of their own around here with the husband out of town all week. So I usually end up doing it on Sunday.

I interrupted UFC and went to horse racing. They had several Kentucky Derby preps with massive points to award. Went back to UFC and rewinded to where we were before. After that was over, switched to Longmire.
no more horse racing or dog racing, or "trotters or *harness* racing" in my area...

dang animal rights jerks are as bad as anti-2A people

for those that haven't heard of "trotters" or harness racing.

My grandfather owned several harness racers. He loved those horses like they were his kids. The last one he had was Northwood Hazy. She raced in Ontario, Canada many moons ago.

not too many people know the trotters or harness racing, which is why i added a link.

i like horses, i loved horse racing, but i loathed the trotters, as anytime i had a bet on one, he would "pull back" if he was in the lead.

i did like going into the paddock area..??? to see the horse i was betting on

dog racing was my absolute favorite.

they just ran and ran, not controlled by any sort of rider.
