What are you doing right now??

Hi,

Pretty cool, we have a celebrity amongst us. what's the globe for?

The name of the band is "Mostly Water". The Earth is mostly covered with water. Our bodies are made mostly of water. Hence the name. (That's science.)

Anyway, that globe has a hole in it for tips. It's a tip jar. The band also has a big banner. I don't know why the guitar player didn't bring it. 😕

Thank you for your indulgence,

Bass

Hi,

I'm tucking myself in after my gig. I'm sipping on a Fat Tire. At 5.2% it tastes like water. There were no high gravity stouts in this whole casino. :(

I hope Mr. belladonna is resting easy.

Good morning! He is doing well so far, thank you. I am working on my second cup of coffee and am going to start cooking brunch shortly. Bacon and eggs...and he is actually going to join me downstairs to enjoy it. :)

Just got back from slumming it at the range. Typical results. L-R: Walther P99, HK VP9 Match, Sig 226 X5, and the Turkish wonder gun - the AP5. Interesting tidbit, the VP9 Match is sporting the new OLight OSight green dot. I don’t know what I think of it, to be honest. It is pretty large and has a weird distortion in the aspherical lens that takes a little bit of getting used to. Most large windows have this ( if you rock the gun up and down so that the dot gets to the uppermost or lowermost edge you can see it), but this seems more noticeable. It comes with a recharging cover that is kind of cool, but kind of a gimmick in that the dot on normal usage will give you 50,000 hrs, so the recharger is going to get broken out once a year. But the whole thing was $239 and was worth checking out and it knock bullseyes out at 20 yds, so there’s that. I actually prefer the Viridian RFX35 green dot that I’m running on the 226 X5. It’s basically an SRO knockoff.

Hi,

Glad to hear Mr. @belladonna is doing better. Good to see Mr. @SimonRL having fun on the range. I really didn't want to know about Mr. @KillerFord1977 's love life.

Today I drove back from my casino gig, took Mrs. BassCliff out for an early supper, helped her fill her new raised beds with compost and soil, and now I'm checking out my "new-to-me" black powder 1860 Army revolver. I'll have to go shopping for supplies soon. :)
