What are you doing right now??

Taking some pics of some of my recent handiwork.

Added a threaded barrel to my VP9 and well, you know the other part. The Tactical was the only VP9 I didn’t have, so now I have the Full Monty.

Had my CZ P07 milled for a K footprint and mounted a Viridian RFX-15 green dot. Much cheaper than buying the new P09C. Hit the range with it this weekend and you’ll be no doubt surprised to hear it will hit the bullseye no problem. I have a Cajun Gun Works spring kit on the way.

Added the FN flat trigger for my 509 T. When I bought this last year it was hit and miss as to whether you got the curved or the new flat trigger. Getting hold of the flat trigger has been a quest with them selling out in a matter of minutes. The reason this is a big deal is that the CZ forum is littered with stories of 509s having their frames cracked while removing the locking block pin. Apex makes a tool that is supposed to prevent this so I bought one and between the tool and my infamous deft touch it came out and went back in no problem. The 509 is never going to have a trigger that people brag about, but the flat trigger is better.

We watched The Spanish Prisoner last night on Prime. Great movie, I highly recommend. Got the new car insurance policy in the mail. Only gone up $400/yr. with a 5 year old Frontier and clean driving records in a small town. I'll have to read through a quarter inch thick packet to look for changes. Forgot to order bullets yesterday, so I'll do that today if I remember.

My insurance bill is killing me
 
i went and did some errands, including paying 3 bills, then i had to get a new phone.......my "old" phone, the internal speaker was no longer working, i had to use "speaker phone"

now mind you, i prefer a "flip phone"

that cost me like $86.00 today....

i really do not want a smart phone....

for what little calling i do, or recieve, it's a useless cost.



but this happens.....first.

as i got out of my car at my first stop, the bank, i hear this dang "clicking noise", when i go to close my door..



like wtf is this all about.>??

totally new to me, i had the car since brand new.

about a week ago, i dabbed some of that high pressure red grease to all the hinges, was it a hinge?

no, and i tried to "feel" for where the noise was coming from

i couldn't find it.

a quick google search on "car door clicking"...

i found it..the "door check strap" mount was loose in the door itself, not the A-Pillar.

10mm socket, and all is quiet again.

now here it is past 1PM, and my nap is LOOOONG over due...

I didn’t know if they still made a flip phone ha ha 😆
 
Having lunch and checking email (and scrolling on the forum, of course 😉). Got an email from UPS that they delivered my Echelon to my FFL. Now, if they call me before the end of my shift, I’ll stop by on the way home. If not, tomorrow is the day! Not sure if the optic has shipped yet.
