What are you doing right now??

Just finished my nuclear dinner, and now sipping an IPA. It's only 6:30PM CST and I am nearly ready for bed. How pathetic is that? Might have something to do with the fact that I felt like a shot of tequila once I had a look at the increase in my natural gas bill.... It has gone up from $65.81 to $131.00 in the span of a month. I just love those kicks in the gut after a 10 hour shift and a 45 minute commute.
Ah well, it's only money. I can't take it with me to the other side so I might as well pay to live. Here's to another day above the dirt! 😎
Enjoy the beverage
Having a nice Chardonnay myself
Water and utility is $460 this month, a low from $575 August

Did you increase your use? Check your bill if it shows you did but know you didn't you just might have a leak in your service line from the meter to your house. Its not even winter yet!

No. We have gas heat, stove and oven. We work and aren't home a lot. Our heat is kept to between 68 and 70 degrees in cold months. I am on a budget plan so I am sure the price spiked and they want to make sure they're covered. My husband holds a gas ticket, and he is very aware of our usage.

They have to pay for all Bassbob's overtime. :ROFLMAO: :p

NG prices have went down actually. Sounds like something else is going on to me. Are your neighbors gas bills doubling ?

On the budget plan here for gas I pay $28 a month, water heater, furnace and stove. In winter I keep house at 72. For electric bill it's $104 per month and I also keep house at 72 degrees. It has been a very hot summer here. I'm also on budget plan for electric.
I keep upstairs at 76
Down at 74
Water only Tues / Friday
100+ degrees and a 2 story house = big bills
Market prices dont help

had a breakfast, but could not finish it, sipping on my 2nd cup of coffee...

i got hit with some sinus crap, which i get sometimes only once or many times a years...

i ain't even gonna go out for the paper, as soon as i finish this coffee, i am going to go and lay back in that recliner....

when this stupid crap hits me, i am awake all night long coughing.

i had to be "somewhat" feeling better for an appointment this afternoon....

dang OTC sinus meds make me loopy

Well, came home to the overflow drain for the AC leaking onto the side yard 😡😡🤬

Went to attic. Pan is 1/2 full. Line is plugged.

Break out the plumbing snake and some vinegar. Pop the drain access cap at the drip pan and jam down the snake. Pour in some vinegar and it backs up . Damn . Plumbing Bore snake again for about 2’ and the vinegar gurgles away and drains. Couple more pours and drain is clear.🕺🕺🙂🙂 clog was in the first P trap at about 2’.
Shop vac out the pan and all is dry and clear and draining. Thank god.
100 degrees today and Monday would have been the time texh would prob make it out. Saved some $$ and kept ac working.
Some days you win . Today was that day 😊
