What are you doing right now??

Had a pair of G&Ts ( The Botanist) and a pair of Guinness ES. Played my Spector for a couple hours. Cleaned the blood and puss off the fretboard and neck. Having an iced tea and checking out Killerford's awesome pictures of his Colorado trip. Still waiting on my plate from GG&G to switch optics on my 1301 T. Range trip with some jarheads in the morning. Probably run the Wilson and a VP9 of one sort or another.

Everything went well at the match yesterday until my blood sugar crashed. When that happens, I can get very stupid and won't even recognize it. I had a good breakfast, but it didn't keep me going. No misses in 288 shots, but I got two penalties for a wrong sequence. On a good note, I got my Lightning fixed free and the wife ran it like a rental.

Just finished watching the sun come up through the kitchen window while the coffee was brewing. Gonna be another beautiful, clear day. It's 41 degrees right now, a little frost out there so it was probably colder earlier. Just taking my time with my coffee, deleting emails, catching up on here... Everything I wanted to do yesterday is still here waiting to be done, like I knew it would be 🫤. I am glad I took yesterday off, apparently I needed it. I feel much better today. I think I might even get outside and hike around in the trees out back. Most of them have lost their leaves already and I love dragging my feet through the leaves. Not going to push myself. I do too much of that lately, it seems..

Take time and have fun. All work and no play makes Bell a.........

Ended up spotting this morning for a bunch of guys sighting in their rifles. I did get to shoot an old Enfield (303) my buddy Matt got from Royal Tiger and restored. He has piles of old military rifles he buys cheap from them and then restores. Was banging steel at 200 yards with the old irons.

Came home and dug 2 piers. I'll be spending my vacation this week pouring 6 more piers and setting 2 beams in Bassbob's continuing adventures in deck building. Oh boy.

Nice hot bowl of tortilla soup and Sunday night football.
