What are you doing right now??

I nearly lost my parents in a flooded basement when I was 15. The creek behind us flooded the entire neighborhood. I found out later my brother swam around the house looking for a way into the basement. We never found our 2 wheel trailer. We carried things upstairs as the water rose in the basement and my dad got trapped in one of the rooms until the door broke. We had to have a friend pick us up as our 3 cars wouldn't start.
Be safe out there..

i am taking a brownie and water break,,

it is very tiring cleaning the heating radiators, part is standing, part is bending, part is sitting on the floor to vacuum under them

the worst part..??

getting up off the floor.......

high dusting done on the walls, doors, baseboards, window frames.

after this break, we will be vacuuming, and mopping all the floors.....

all before 12 PM...i hope....

i don't wanna miss my afternoon nap.

this is one of 3 in my house, all the others are short in width and taller.

gotta put the long brush into each opening at the top, run it down to the floor, then go into each fin from the front face, run that to the back, then run the brush at the bottom where the large pipe is, to get the dust off that piping.

then vacuum the floor behind the radiator.

thank god, only 3 this size in my house.

the other apartments have the taller/ shorter in width ones.

like this one.....

disregard the time stamp, it is actually 10:40 now...damned internal clock....

Good morning everyone,

Wow, it sounds like either the weather is threatening or the spring cleaning will kill you. ;) Everyone take care and enjoy your blessings. My gig last night went great. I'm not playing in church today so hopefully the family can go out to lunch afterwards. My grandkids and I can exchange dad jokes and puns.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Just finished coffee #2, watching OPL on the DVR. Husband is working today so I'll just do my usual wimmin's work. Maybe I'll throw some dry fire in there for good measure. It's another sunny day here, but the temp is 33...feeling like 30 with the wind. May go for a walk out back to see how gooshy the ground is. The heavy wet snow is melting slowly but the frost was gone so the ground should suck it up quickly. I have a lot of work to do this year in my garden so the sooner I can get in there, the better. It's supposed to get close to 60 degrees by the end of the week, so next weekend may be it.

Just finished spring-cleaning of the closets. Taking some bags to good will. Makes one feel good to give to the less fortunate.
Know what you mean. The man that does our yard work is going through a rough time. His wife and son both work at fast food places and they struggle to keep just to keep food on the table. We are not wealthy by any means but we try to help as much as possible. The son is a sophomore in high school and we all know how peer pressure can effect their lives.
