My oldest son was an Air Force JTAC with 9 combat tours. The troops on the ground he supported love the A-10. The F35 can do the mission but hasn't been used in the role enough to prove itself. The end is sadly near for the A10.

Not sure why I would want to kill one, but it did say if attacked so I best damn well hope my .357 magnum does the job. Since giving up my .44s that's the woodswalker.

On a side note, the question of thier existence is interesting to me. Cannot say I believe but do not disbelieve either. I have seen a few things and heard a few things in the woods over the past 60 plus years that I find hard to explain. Especially in the Upper.

My friend encountered a creature in the UP while dirtbiking as a teenager. He was knocked off by the creature who he described as a 7-8 foot tall furless creature with pink skin and rabbit-like eyes and teeth. Sounds like the energizer bunny from hell to me, but I fully believed him as I could tell he was scared while retelling the story. When he high tailed it out of there and made it back to his grandpa's and asked him about it. His grandpa replied, "we don't talk about that round here."
